What a lovely conclusion to a very trying year.   TWO MILLION downloads  . .  can't get my head around it yet, but a very big  thank  you to everyone who contributed to this mind-boggling total.  THANK YOU!

Hello everyone - especially those who have been so regular with comments on my stuff over the past month . . . I have been spending a lot of time away from my computer, but when I've had access, I've been frantically finishing off projects to upload until year's end.

I will be taking a break over the Christmas/New Year and into mid- January, so did not want half completed sets languishing in my projects folder over that period.   To that end, I have just completed uploading ALL my finished work for 2012 and will now be able to concentrate on 'talking' with my dear friends and new commenters alike, over the rest of this week.

Thank you all for your wonderful support and encouragement of the past year - it has been a blessing in a period that has not been without difficulty.   I truly enjoy reading all posts and, if I have one regret, it is that I just haven't had sufficient time to spare to keep track of what you all are doing - not more than a cursory look now and again, in fact. . . and I have commented when I could.

In 2013, I hope that I will have more time for the things I want to do, rather than duties that must be done . . .  so with fingers firmly crossed, I am hoping this is absolutely the last time I will need to apologise for tardiness.    Heaven knows, I've done nothing else all through 2012  LOL not.

Have a wonderful Christmas if you celebrate it . . . and a happy time with family, even if you don't.  May the coming year hold nothing but good things for you and yours.    Til next time, next year . . . . ooroo!

This is driving me crazy!

Does anyone else  have an ongoing problem with comments showing as unread in the 'balloon', but not listed?

I have just spent, literally, hours catching up with my lovely commenters, only to find that there are 10 listed as still unread.  Yep! 10.   Now, I know it IS possible I could miss one or two where there is over a hundred to begin with . . and in this instance I've accounted for 3 in my upcoming stuff . . .but there's no way I've missed 7 others,  because I've gone over the dang thing at least 3 times, comment by comment.  

I could just hit the '5day' button and that would be the end of it . .  but comments are hard to come by and  I worry I've missed somebody.  That goes against the grain, so I keep looking, spending time I just don't have to spare!   grrrrrr!

And just while I'm in complaint mode . . . how about the Guestbook Comments achievement?  Has anyone registered ANY?  I haven't seen a one in my travels today.    On the other end of the scale, I've also seen a number of members credited with creations achievement status, without them ever having submitted. . . . 

You will all be aware of my personal opinion of the 'Awards' . . . it's public knowledge LOL . . but, it seems to me that if we are going to have them, they should at least be accurate.  Or am I just nitpicking?  

Feel free to comment, either way!

PS . . I've just reluctantly used the '5day' option . and done all the comings and goings .  because those 10 'leftovers' were going to distort the numbers for any new comments . . . and I still have 10 unread comments.... DOUBLE GRRRRRR!

PPS about 2 hours later . . my unread stats are now correct.   Seems like it was maybe that  site refresh thingy, but then again, the stats have always done their own math, so that doesn't fly either.  Oh well.  :-}

In Conclusion:  PietaEversong has pointed out that the ghost entries are most probably those pesky shopping SPAM ones that have been appearing over the past year - and I tend to agree. Mystery solved.   Thanks Pieta.

After all the original  hoo-ha about awards, the reality is somewhat underwhelming!

If what has taken the place of the greyed out icons on my minisite  is the complete awards listing, then - and I'm speaking only for myself-  who ever had the idea in the first place, should have kept it to themselves.   

Even the V7 Kudos earnings get a mention [and own award!] . .   and they are as dead as the dodo!

The rest are so incongruous as to be hilarious . . .  and my modest tallies wouldn't come within a bull's roar of  some of the longterm creators here.

Sorry if this treads on some tender toes out there . . but what an anti-climax!

On going further to check my 'achievements"  I find that my Date of Joining TSR is Unknown and I have never  had a subscription  .  say what?     

Hi dear friends and return visitors . . . . here it is, the waning of the month of  September and I'm just back here for the first time since late August . . . .  and there are 92 comments waiting my attention . . . . oh wow!   wish I could wave a magic wand, or mix a potion, so that time would stand still for an afternoon!   That way I could just sit here and talk to you all, exclusive of interruptions, distractions, catastrophes . . . you get the idea?

My Real Life [if there is such a thing]   has been so hectic of late - not health related thank goodness and knock wood  - but still preventing me from spending time with you all.   I seem to always be apologising for being such a late 'returner of thanks', so from now on, I will just do what I can when I can, without apology.   You may have to wait a couple of weeks, but eventually I will get to all of you.

If time is passing, and you are still waiting . . . please return here.  I will at least post details if my schedule hits another snag!

Hello again . . seems like I might have made it this time!   My health has been very patchy over the past few weeks and  I am still struggling a little to get back into 'harness',  but I think I might finally be free and clear . . . well, for the time being at any rate.  [grin]

Sincere thanks to those who left messages of good cheer - one small thing to be sure, but always welcome and I have no doubt, they helped restore [at least] a feeling of wellbeing.  So, thank you, dear friends.

I  think I have made sure not to miss anyone who has posted comments whilst I was MIA . . .but please forgive me if I overlooked yours.   Take it as read that it was not my intention to do so, as every comment is important to me.
