Description
Shinsengumi Hakama and Haori: The Shinsengumi where a special police force of the late shogunate period.

Their outfits usually consisted of haori and hakama over a kimono, with a white cord called a tasuki crossed over the chest and tied in the back. The uniqueness of the uniform was most evident in the haori, which was colored generally light blue, but can also be light yellow. The haori sleeves were trimmed with "white mountain stripes, resulting in a very flashy outfit, quite unlike the usual browns, blacks, and grays found in warrior clothing.

This outfit can be recolored and patterned in three areas however the haori can not be recolored.

The Shinsengumi and this particular outfit they wore are featured in many animes, movies, video games, manga, and television shows including Rurouni Kenshin, Hakuoki Shinsengumi Kitan, Peacemaker Kurogane.

Creator Notes
Obviously I have left out a few things, which was simply because they did not look right with this particular mesh. The outfit does not included the tasuki and the symbols that generally appeared on the lapel and the back.

I did the Shinsengumi Haori in just the standard blue. It can not be recolored because it is an overlay.

Known Issues:
1. As you can see from the picture included there is a very small slit. This has to do with the mesh. I simply put a pair of black leggings on him with a pair of long white socks and it makes the slit less noticeable.

2. While this is not so much an issue as it is an annoyance, if you do not want to see bare legs you will need a long pair of socks because the outfit is short because it is made from the bathrobe mesh..
