This is my first entry onto The Sims 2 website. This wasn't the story I was going to start off with but I started it and thoughts just kept flowing.

Now on with the story... As Lisa lay on the couch in a depressed mood, she's thinking about the day her whole life changed and how she never saw it coming. Just two weeks ago Lisa was supposed to be married to Tony, the love of her life, father of her 6 year old daughter Tanya and boyfriend of 8 years. Tony asked to marry Lisa one night while she was visiting him. The proposal was nothing romantic but it caught her by surprise, so therefore it was special to her. She never pressured him about marriage or even brought the subject up. So when he asked her to marry him, she immediately said yes. She was in love with him, she always have been. She planned the perfect wedding for a year. She found the prefect dresses for her and their daughter. Tony found a really nice tuxedo. They sent out invitations and even had a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.
But in between all the bliss something changed and Lisa had no clue. The day of the wedding every thing seemed to be going well. They were in the chapel when the minister asked "Do you take Lisa to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Tony had a confused look on his face, shook his head no, apologized and took off running. Lisa was devestated and confused. She had no clue that Tony was having doubts.
But what made it worse was after he had gone home and changed, he came back to the chapel to explain after numerous attempts to call her. She was furious with him because not only did she get hurt but so did their daughter. When he arrived everyone was shocked, even Lisa. She walked over to him and threw the glass of water that she was drinking on him. She had no words at first because she was too upset. "Okay I deserved that but can you please let me explain why I ran?" Tony said. Lisa didn't say a word she just stood there quiet and listened to his sorry excuse.
"I know that I was wrong. It's just that once I put on my tuxedo it became too real to me. In a couple hours I will be married. I got scared and I realized that it wasn't something that I wanted anymore. I don't want to be tied down, I don't want a family and I just want to be single. It's nothing you did wrong because truth be told, you are a wonderful woman, it's me Lisa." Lisa went off at this point.
"What! After 8 years of playing house you want to be single? Is that what you are trying to tell me? I didn't ask to marry you Tony, you asked to marry me. I never once even bought up marriage now did I? But when you asked to marry me I was overjoyed because that meant that you really was in love with me and you was ready to make it official! And now you don't want a family? What about your daughter? Did you forget that she exists?" "Of course I didn't forget about Tanya. I know she is mine. I've been there for 6 years Lisa. I would never forget her. I never meant to hurt her either but I need some time alone. I need to think. I need to get my head straight. She needs consistency and obviously right now I am not providing that for her." Tony said.
"You are so right, you are not providing consistency. The only consistency she has is me! Eight years Tony, eight! What are you thinking? Did you just bump your head or are you on drugs or something? Better yet, who is she?" Lisa yelled. At that point it started to get dark. Lisa had enough, she just wanted this to be a nightmare and she would wake up at any moment. But when Tony said the words to her, "You are right, I did meet someone." She thought she would just die. "Why don't you just shoot me and get it over with? How could you? How? And you could have told me this before today, before now. Just get away from me! I never want to see you ever again! You found someone new huh? Let her be your family!" Lisa yelled. Tony did not dare say a word. He felt really bad and he knew the best thing for him to do was to leave. He watched her for a second and then he left. "Why me Lord? Why me? What did I do wrong?" Lisa said. She stood there and wept. She was so hurt and torn that she did not know what to do. What got her through that night was when Tanya came and gave her a big hug. "Mommy don't cry. You still have me." Tanya said. That was what she needed to hear and Lisa held onto her daughter tightly. She loved her so much and she knew that she had to be all right for her. Lisa couldn't understand what went wrong and what made Tony go to another woman. For two weeks he did not call, not even to check on his daughter. While Lisa was sitting there crying she did not know that Tanya was standing there watching her. When Tanya sat on the couch and asked her mother, "Mommy why are you crying? Are you still sad?" She startled Lisa. Lisa did not want Tanya to know that she was hurting so much inside. She knew that she needed to be strong for her daughter but she didn't know how to do that.
"Just a little but I will be okay." Lisa said with a fake smile.
"I don't like seeing you sad. Is it because you miss daddy? Sometimes I get sad because I miss him."
"You are so smart you know that? Yes it's because I miss your daddy. Sweetie you don't have to be sad because he will always be your daddy, you know that right?" Lisa said.
"Sometimes, but I miss him." Tanya said sadly.
"Baby no matter what goes on between me and your daddy, he loves you very much. You are his baby girl and don't you forget it." "Mommy would it be okay if I call him?" Tanya asked
"Sure sweetie." Tanya even tried calling her dad but the operator came on the line saying, "The number you are trying to reach has been changed, no further information is available." When she got off of the phone she turned to her mother in tears. "What's wrong honey?" Lisa asked.
"My daddy is lost." Tanya replied sadly.
"Lost? What do you mean lost?"
"A woman said the number was changed but she don't know the other number."
Fury built up in Lisa. She thought to herself "That coward." "Honey your daddy is not lost, he just changed his number. We'll find him okay?" Lisa said as she hugged Tanya.
The truth was, she had no clue where he was but she was going to pay him a little visit at his home the next day while Tanya was in school. It was one thing to break her heart in two but she was not about to let her daughter's heart feel such pain. "I tell you what. Why don't we go out to eat at your favorite restaurant?" Lisa asked in an attempt to make Tanya feel better. "Really?" Tanya asked.
"Yes really. You and mommy need some fun."
"Can we dress alike?"
"Sure baby and you can pick the outfits."
"Okay mommy." Tanya headed up the stairs when she stopped, turned to her mother and said, "Mommy."
"Yes honey?" Lisa answered "I love you." Lisa smiled "I love you too baby." That brought tears to Lisa's eyes. She loves her baby girl so much, she would do anything for her. Tanya went upstairs and picked out a black and white dress for them to wear. She liked how that dress looked on her mother and she felt that everytime she wore it she looked happy. They went to Alon's 50's diner downtown Atlanta. They danced to music. Took lots of pictures... Tanya ordered her favorite food, sphaghetti and they had a food fight at the table... Lisa tried to make it as enjoyable for Tanya as possible. Secretly, Lisa was hoping that Tony would show up. But if he showed up with a female she would be crushed. Luckily he didn't show up. On the ride home, Tanya asked Lisa, "Mommy, why didn't daddy marry you?" Lisa did not know how to answer the question without being hateful and she didn't want to paint a bad picture of Tanya's father. "Baby, sometimes people in love grow apart or need time apart that's all." Lisa gave the best answer she could.
"Is that what daddy did?" Tanya asked.
"Yes sweetie, I suppose it is."
"He is not very smart is he?"
"Tanya! Be respectful now."
"I'm sorry mommy but I'm confused. Daddy loves us right?"
"Yes he does but what happened between me and your daddy does not reflect on you. He wanted time away from me but not you. He loves you."
"Okay." was all that Tanya said but Lisa knew that the wheels in her head were turning. For her to be so young she was so smart. Too smart for her own good. Once they arrived home Lisa put Tanya to bed and she called her best friend, Cassy. She knew Cassy for about 11 years and she is more like a sister to her than her bestfriend. Everyday Cassy has been stopping by and calling Lisa to check up on her. She knew that the wedding that never happened was a devestating blow to her.
When she arrived at the house after talking to Lisa on the phone she found Lisa in the back about to take a swim.
"What are you doing here?" Lisa asked her.
"Girl I know you like the back of my hand and you need a friend right now. So you better be happy with me!" Cassy said with a smile.
"I'm happy you came. You are right I do need a friend. Cassy I don't know what to do. It's to the point where my daughter is being torn by all of this." "What happened? Did Tanya say something to you?" Cassy asked.
"Did she? She had a whole conversation full and she even tried to call Tony and guess what."
"What girl? Come on don't leave me in suspense."
"His number has been changed with no further information."
"What! That coward! I hate what he is putting the both of you through. That is his daughter up there. He helped to create her, how can he just turn his back on her?"
"I don't know but I am going by his house tomorrow and give him a piece of my mind."
"Do you want company? Because you know I am always down to knock a brother out!" Cassy asked.
"Okay Mohammed Alia. No I don't need company, I got this." Lisa said. "I just don't understand him though. It just doesn't make sense to me at all." Lisa said.
"It didn't make sense to me the day it happened and then I came to the realization that he is just a D.O.G... Dog!" Cassy said. "All I know is he can not come back now. I am through with him for good."
Just then Lisa'a doorbell rang.
"Who is at my door at 10 o'clock at night?" Lisa asked.
"I don't know but you better go see, it might be that idiot. It'll save you the trip."
"You are funny Cassy." Lisa said while she walked to the front.
"Hello may I help you?" Lisa asked the woman standing at her door. She did not know the woman but she was pretty.
"Hello Lisa. You don't know me but I know who you are." The woman said.
"Okay so since you know me and I don't know you, why don't you introduce yourself." Lisa said sternly.
"My name is Kenya, Tony's girlfriend." Lisa's heart drop. Tony's girlfriend? She thought. What in the world was going on here.
"Excuse me?" Lisa asked.
"Yes you heard me correctly. I'm Tony's girlfriend, the one he left you for." Kenya answered.
"Okay so what in the world do you want and why are you at my door."
"Just to let you know that he is in a relationship and there is no need to try to get back with him."
"First off does he know that you are at my house right now? Where his daughter lives? And second, If you was so secure with your "relationship" as you call it, with him then you would not be standing at my door right now paranoid, thinking that I want him. The day he left me at the alter was it for me. As far as I am concerned he can do for his daughther and go straight to hell!" "I'm very secure with my relationship with him. I don't have to worry about you because I am carrying his child." Kenya said.
"mmmm So you are pregnant? Now I get it. He cheated on me and when things went sour and you turned out pregnant he decided he couldn't marry me because what's done in the dark would definately come to light."
"Whatever! He loves me." "You was with him for how long? All of a second? And you think that he loves you? Honey he invested 8 years with me and a beautiful daughter! You just remember that I have his first born! You can have him physically I really don't care but he would never love you sweetie!" Lisa yelled. "I wash my hands of him. He just better be there for my daughter and that is it! Because you can give him a message for me. If he breaks my daughter's heart he better skip town because when I get my hands on him it won't be nothing pretty!" Lisa said. "Listen Ms. Thang, don't you dare threaten him or try to tell me he does not love me. You better just listen to what I said. STAY AWAY FROM HIM! or you will be sorry!" Kenya yelled. "Don't you dare walk away from me, I am not through with you yet." Lisa said. "Don't you ever touch me again! I would hurt you little girl! You better watch yourself, your daughter needs a mother because she sure won't have a father." Kenya snapped. "Get off of my porch you trifling chick! You ever say anything else about my daughter I will murder you! Go back to your little make believe home before I get you arrested for trespassing." Lisa said as she threw a bucket of water on her that was on the porch from watering the flowers. "This is not over, not even a little bit." Kenya said while she wiped off the water.
"Whatever! Go home and dry off." Lisa said as she laughed at Kenya being soaken wet. Cassy was on her way out of the house just when Kenya was leaving.
"What was going out out there and who was that?" Cassy asked.
"That was Tony's new girlfriend, who claims that she is pregnant." Lisa answered with fury in her eyes.
"You did not just say what I think you said." Cassy said.
"Oh yeah I said it. I'm surprised that you did not come out." Lisa replied.
"I was on my way out when I heard Tanya crying." "Oh my god is she okay? Did she hear us arguing?" Lisa asked frantically.
"Calm down, she's fine. She was just having a bad dream and she didn't even open her eyes. I just rubbed her back until she went back to sleep." Cassy answered.
"Thank God."
"Does Tony know that chick paid you a visit much less that she knows where you live?"
"I don't know, I doubt it but I will be at his place in the morning." "I'm going with you and I don't want to hear anything else." Cassy yelled.
"Fine because you may be calling the police."
"Lisa remember that Tanya needs you."
"I know and she is my number one priority." Lisa said.
"Exactly, now go kiss baby girl and go get some rest. I will see you at 8:30 tomorrow morning. "Okay. Thanks Cassy." Lisa said sincerely.
"That is what best friends are for." Cassy said as she hugged Lisa. Cassy went home and Lisa took a nice hot bubble bath to try to sort all of this out. For the past two weeks she has not been able to sleep. All the excitement from the day really wore her out. She was feeling lightheaded and weak. Once she got in the bed she was asleep in less then 5 minutes.
And for some reason, that night she got some sleep. The next day Lisa got up out of bed still feeling tired but she knew she had to go by Tony's and she definately had to go to work. She picked her outfit for work carefully because it had to be sexy enough for Tony to drool but still business attire. She also pinned up her hair.
Before going downstairs to the car she checked herself out once more in the mirror. She had to look perfect. Cassy called her right when she was about to leave to drop Tanya off at school.
"I'm not going to meet you at your house because I'm running late. I will meet you at Tony's house." Cassy said in a rushed voice.
"I was going to call you anyway. I am just about to drop Tanya off at school. I will see you by his house. Don't be late Cassy. It should take me no longer than 20 minutes." Lisa said.
"Okay I will be on time. See you then." Cassy said and she hung up. Cassy arrived at Tony's house before Lisa did and found a surprise when she arrived. She knew that she could not allow Lisa to see what she saw because it just may send her over the edge. As soon as Lisa pulled up Cassy ran up to her and tried to turn her around.
"Lisa he's not here I checked let's just go." Cassy said nervously.
"Go? I just got here and I need to see for myself." Lisa replied.
"I'm telling you that he's not here. Let's leave."
"What is wrong with you? Get off of me and let me see!"
Lisa pulled away from Cassy and was totally shocked to see what she saw... To be continued...
What was it that Cassy was trying to hide from Lisa at Tony's house?
Is he there with Kenya?
Is something wrong?
Why did Tony change is number and will he re-appear in his daughter's life?
Was Kenya really telling the truth about being pregnant with Tony's baby?
