Tales from the Cribt (4)...
((Return once again to the life and times of little Jules Simanski, who sure could use a visit from his imaginary friend today))
Hey! Hi, Friendly! Lookit here-- --I'm learning to walk! I'm walking... I'm walking... I walked!!! We did it, Dada! I'm almost a big boy! Now I just have to get a little bigger, and I'll be able to get my hands on all kinds of fun stuff. Don't worry, Friendly. We'll always be best friends forever, I promise. Even when I'm all grown up. Dada sure does walk fast. Maybe the next thing I need to learn is how to grow my legs longer. Uh-oh. I haven't warned you about the evil clown. His name is Badly. He has evil powers of badness. He makes Mama and Dada mad at each other. Not always. But a lot. I keep trying to tell Mama and Dada not to stand so close to Badly... ...But they mostly don't understand what I say. Not like you do, Friendly. When I say evil clown, it comes out teddy bear, or baby bottle, or maybe no words come out at all. Someday, when I'm bigger, I'm going to put Badly in the big potty and flush it. I might need your help with that, so be ready. We better go play until the badness wears off. Oh, and just so you know, Badly might see me sometimes now that I'm walking like a big boy. So if I start thinking the bad words at you all a-sudden, it's not me. It's Badly. Whew, don't worry-- just play loud and you won't hear any other stuff. That's what I do. Lookit, Unca Jesse is here! Unca Jesse isn't a grown-up like other grown-ups. He plays toys with me! For Pony!!! Hmm... What's going on here, do you think? Sounds like Mama is going on a trip to see her mama and dada. They live in France. That's a faraway place. They went to live there before I came out of Mama's belly. I guess Mama has to go see them there because they don't come here to visit. I hear they don't like our house... ...Or Dada or Unca Jesse. I bet they'd like me, though, once they got to know me. But I can't go to faraway France, right, Mama? They don't let little kids get on the airplanes. Don't be sad, Dada. I'm sure Mama will be back in time for my birthday. Dada? Whoa, Unca Jesse-- do I have to go night-night now? Shouldn't Dada be doing this? He was right there! I wish my words didn't come out wrong when I say them out loud. But you understand me, right, Friendly? That's because you read my mind. Too bad Mama and Dada and Unca Jesse can't do that. Now that I can walk, I've really got to get to work on this talking thing... tomorrow, maybe... *yawn* night-night. "Night-night, Jules." ((Special thanks to…

((Deleted Scene 29.5:
Here we see Jesse making absolutely certain that humorless Marsilius Marquis (Danielle's father) despised him more than he despised Jono. The effort (which was really no trouble at all for Jesse *he bows, grins* ) got a nice smile out of his twin, too. Marsilius would like you all to know that if you laugh at this shot, you are no friend of his. lol. ;) ))

Hee hee, so cute...again! \;\) No 7, oh, all the things Jules will get into once he gets taller. lol And the badly the clown, he is scary. I don't like clowns either Jules! Somehow flushing him down the loo may not be an option though. lol Mama has gone away for a while, hopefully not too long.  Can't decide which screen is my favorite..I love them all. \:wub\:

I'm so with Jules on getting rid of Badly. Clowns are evil! \:mad\: I just love Jules. He's so spot-on about everything around him. I think it's the grown ups who can't really communicate (especially listening skills!) well and who are incapable of really understanding Jules (and where he is coming from!). Thank goodness for Pony! and friends and a good night's sleep to bring on a fresh and hopefully more positive perspective. (I love how your story always ends with nighty-night...eventhough this one was a premature and sad one \:\( ) I always say how cute and funny this series is (and it so totally is! \:D) but it's so smart too which is another reason why I just love this series!!!! \:D P.S. From chapter 3, I love using the word 'snuggly'!!!
