Penny LaBelle just moved from the small town of Riverview to the big city. She has some big dreams, but needs your help to accomplish them! This story has a twist: You, the viewers, take part in deciding the future of miss LaBell. At the end of each chapter you decide which course of action Penny will take. Penny unpacked the last box and heaved a deep sigh. Slightly light headed, she looked around her new apartment in disbelief. "Not too shabby for my first place," she thought to herself. It was her first time on her own, and Penny was filled with excitement and possibility. For a moment, Penny thought back to her home in Riverview, where she had left her family just a few hours ago. The home-cooked meals and fresh country air were of the past and she would have to get used to ramen noodles and smog. She knew it would take some time, but Penny was confident. Suddenly remembering her interview, she rushed out the door and down the stairs to call a cab. Upon arriving the agency, she searched the building for the right office, her nerves in a bundle. When she found the right office, she took a moment to gather herself before knocking.
"What?!" a husky voice growled at her.
Unsure of what was to come, Penny opened the door. The room smelled of cigarettes and antique furniture and was dimly lit. Penny came face to face with a very odd looking woman.
"What is it?" the woman asked impatiently "Hello, I'm Penny LaBelle. I'm here for the job interview," she said as poised as she could.
"I don't know what you're talking about sweetie, but I'm a very busy woman, so if you please..."
Penny was shaken, but determined. She took a seat, unwilling to give up. "I know I don't have much experience, but this is my dream. I will work harder than anyone you've ever met. I'll do whatever it takes to be the best actress I can be," she assured her. The woman took a moment to look her over.
"Where are you from? You certainly don't look like an actress," the woman scoffed.
"I'm from Riverview, but I just moved to East 14th Street," Penny replied. The woman looked Penny over once more.
"Well Peggy, I know of a few studios that are looking for extras... I'll represent you. But know that I'm sticking my neck out for ya, kid." She began rifling through some paperwork. "The first order of business is changing that name of yours. You won't make it far sounding like you just hopped off the train from Riverview..." "It's Penny. And I'm not changing my name. If people don't like it, they don't have to. This name will be in lights whether they like it or not," Penny said assertively.
Slightly shocked, the woman looked up from her work. A smile slowly appeared at the corner of her mouth. The woman rose from her seat and shook Penny's hand.
"You got spark, kid. I like it. The name's Sherry. Sherry Ellis," she beamed.
"There's an charity event this Saturday night that I would like you to attend. Directors, producers, the whole lot will be there. Who knows? Maybe some big names will even show. I can pull a few strings to get you in. The point is, if you want to start somewhere, this is the place." Penny's heart leaped with excitement.
"Thank you Sherry. You won't be disappointed!" she exclaimed as she left the office.
"I better not, kid!" Sherry's voice trailed after her. By the time Penny reached her apartment, she was in total bliss. "A beautiful new place and I'm finally starting my career! Nothing could be more perfect!" she thought.
Just then, the doorbell rang. She answered the door to find a very attractive man standing there. His arms were covered in tattoos and his hair was slightly disheveled.
"Yes?" Penny asked, a little surprised.
"Um, hi," he said, obviously flustered. "Sorry, I just wasn't expecting the new tenant to be so, well, pretty..."
Penny blushed.
"I'm Tim, I live upstairs. I know you just moved in and everything, but we're throwing a party this Saturday and you should come. My band is playing and everyone from the complex will be there. It'll be a good chance to get to know everyone!" he said with a smile. "Think about it," he said as he walked away.
What will Penny do? The party is the same night as the charity event! You decide:

A: Blow off the party and go to the charity event
B: Blow off the charity event and go to the party
C: Go to the party and arrive at the charity event late
