New sets

I am working on a few sets at the moment,something nice for the Guy sims,maybe something for females to.Some go with this months theme, other sets nothing to do with this months theme. I wasn't going to submit anything for this months themes, due to my time and my creative energy, seem to be tied more to other idea's than the theme. Here is a preview of the next set for the Males simmies.

Silent Whisper Bedroom

My new bedroom recolor,created from Cashcrafts Asian inspired Bedroom meshes.The high texture detail cannot be seen all that well in the main preview pic, but will been able to be appreciated a bit more in the individual pics. Bitzybus mirror tiles that I recolored are used for the floor,these tiles are standalone,just like any other object in the game.You will definatley need her tile meshes for my recolor to show up in your game.Warning! laying to many of these mirror tiles may slow your game down.They are nothing to do with the standard Maxis method of creating your flooring. Dont forget to see the reflection value you need to switch on reflection setting in the in game graphics settings.Depending on the quality of your graphics card will judge if your game can take reflection being switched on. Low end cards may struggle with reflection setting on , the higher end cards shouldn't have much problem. Tips on reflective floor tiles My Bitzybus mirror floor tile recolors This tip only matters if you are going to use wallmirrors in the room you put the mirror floor tile recolors. When laying the mirror floor tile recolors, make sure the standard floor underneath the tile is a near same color to the mirror tile recolor.As you see in the preview pic,the underneath floor reflects on the wallmirror,but does not show through the mirror floor recolor directly. This tip is for those who get unsightly lines when laying mirror floor tile recolor. Just keep turning the tiles until the seams look almost invisible as they do in my preview picture. These tips are only relevant when Silent whisper Bedroom is published. Sorry if I confused anyone in my preview blog entry.I am not very good at instruction. If anyone does have any problems after This recolor is published then feel free to PM me.

No title

I uploaded a recolor of BitzyBus's Maya kitchen, and true to my usual fashion it's not a plain recolor.As you all probably noticed I like to try out different textures and patterns on furniture, just for variety really. In my own little fantasy world, I love seeing how these effects look in the game.

I have another Bedroom recolor to upload which I will do in the next couple of days,Recoloring Cashcrafts lovely Asian Bedroom meshes is definately one of of my favorites, because I use this set so much in my own game, whenever I get the chance to have a play.

Theme

Right now I am currently working on creations for this months theme,maybe a few articals of clothing,or a male insprired room.Just for Males, woohoo.

Actually I am pleased we are concetrating on the male simmies at least for a week.
I hate those days when with all the best intentions things dont flow right,yesterday was like that,I swear I recolored the same objects at least 10 times before I was happy with it.Sometimes I'm my own worst enemy!It probably would have been ok after the 3rd recolor,but if one iddy bitty bit dont look right in my eyes I am like a dog chewing a bone.

Put ya Shades on!

Lol just when you think you cant go any brighter,well guess what? I do.Prepare yourselves folks and put your shades on.Because beleive me your gonna need them.My next set is certainly bright on the eyes,it certainly wont appeal to all.But if you find you like it thats great.

Just a few words about Graphics and texture.On occasion I have received a few pm's on this.Some of you most likely already know this,for those that dont know this it may help.
I have all my in game graphic settings set to high,so if my recolors dont look as they do in my preview pics then it's because your in game graphic settings are set lower.
Turning these up will show detail and texture at it's best,some of you however may not be able to, simply because your graphics card may not be up to the job.

On my old Graphics card I could turn things up, but found after few minutes everything would becoming distorted and blurry,basicially meaning my card couldn't cope with the demands.

So if things dont appear as they do in my preview pics thats probably why.I dont enhance my screenshots in anyway, I just use more or less light in the game to get the effect I desire and take my screenshots from that.

Babies!

Trying to sike myself up to get in the Baby and child mood,for this months Theme.Still I haven't created much for the lil one's maybe I'll get inspired enough to create at least something for them before the week is out.

Still more into Object recoloring at the moment,occasionally straying over to bodyshop to have a little dabble.I love recoloring, but still have absolutely no desire to start meshing,I enjoy other peoples meshes to much.

Bedrooms

I released my first recolor of Solander's Bedroom 01 set,as you can tell I love Solander's meshes.The bedroom is as glossy as the kitchen,never grew out of liking shiny things.

The cabinet4 in this set wont recolor for some reason,am not much good with the techy side of creating so leave that for the more techy types.

So I have left that one out of the set,I'm personally not to bothered as I think there is plenty of items in this set to be more than happy with.

As you may be able to tell, I am have finished with kitchens for a while,I am moving onto a bedroom fad.I dont really ever know where my creative mood it going to take me,only that as I am creating one set, the idea for another comes to mind.

Cashcrafts Asian Addon

I have near finished a request the recolors of Cashcrafts Asian addon set to match the Snapdragon Bedroom set.I know not all of you like Black but for those that do I hope you like it.

Well onto another color,looking in my creation library I need something other than Blue or Black.Blue seems to go pretty much with everything,making it a good choice, when my creativeness is less daring.
I also love Neutral understated colors, but keep that for my real life.My Simmy recolors are for going beyond sensible or practical,but fun.

To many late nights.

Thanks to ladygrainne for letting me know about Milano Hood and Light being the same file,I have now corrected this error.The correct file where it should be.An easy mistake to make,none the less is my second mistake in the last few days.Which has been a wake up call for me, hence the blog title.

The late nights take there toll after a while,especially when night time is a creators favorite time to get creative.Funny how you dont realise how sleep deprived you are until mistakes begin to rear.One mistake will pass as acceptable but not 2.So tonight I am gonna hit sack early.night folks!
