FINALLY FEATURED!! ^0^

After years of toiling my work has finally been appreciated by the likes of EA and My Sims 3 Blog!! HURRAH~!!! :D My recent Arborteum Walls were posted here http://mysims3blog.blogspot.com/2012/11/murfeels-ea-arboretum-walls.html for the first time EVER--MS3B never posts my work--and a creepy lot I created for Halloween was FINALLY reconized by the simgurus at EA's TS3 website last month here http://www.thesims3.com/myBlog.html?persona=murfeel&month=10&year=2012 . Ahh~! The sweet feeling of accomplishment! I was beginning to feel bad, like wow: I suck. :(

Case of LOTR PEPS...find relief here!

In case you're just as excited for the new Hobbit movies as I am and you need some LOTRness in your sims' life, I am currently on a Tolkien fantasy ride, both here at TSR and at The Exchange. Time for...Showtime AND Seasons! Woo!

Thanks to the wonderful friends I've made and contests I've joined at the Sims 3 site, I am now the proud owner of the Showtime EP, which I won in a recent Lord of the Rings building contest (first place, wiatches! :D ), and as soon as EA fixes its registration nonsense I will also own Seasons, too, thanks to the generosity of a very dear friend I made there as well!

 

So you know what that means, right?

Expect a whole bunch. I am going to restart my SciFi creations, as well as Steampunk creations. I am also going to be creating more Lord of the Rings related content here that won't be in my Studio at the Exchange, and hopefully that will be up in time for the new Hobbit movie's release in December. 

 

I was going to have a Nomadic lot available this week, but I can't get it uploaded due to some annoying RigFix error I keep getting at the TSR submissions page-grrr!

Supernatural Story - What Hides in the Night

I made a magical story for a contest I joined! It's acually my first serious work of simming literature--the Day in Wonderland hooplah does NOT count; that was for fun! Heads Up! I'm taking a few lots down for Testing!

Since I'm a paranoid nincompoop I'm going to be pulling out some of my lots, examining their innards, and re-uploading them later. I'm not gone (not yet, anyway, lol)

Just dropping in to give everyone a little Heads Up. I've been bogged down with maybe 100 different projects at once for a while now, so if you're not hearing me it's cuz I'm trapped in Hidden Springs and the elves won't let me leave--b******s. I've got 2 sim-stories to write before August is over (sweating heavily!), a million lot ideas, dozens of sims to make, and not to mention, my daggone DCCache folder nearly exploded on me, so I had to uninstall practically EVERYTHING I have, and will have to reinstall over 10GB of CC all over again, bit by bit to track down the little bugger that effed up my game. I HATE the frakking Launcher--I wish some genius would create a different sims3pack program already so I can burn that daggone thing already. So, anyway, that's about it. I'll be lurking, and migt pop in every once in a wil to snag a few things, but other than that I'll be busy being elf-shot and pixie-led, so.... Yeah... T_T But TSR WILL be getting that new lot by me from the Sneak Peek I showed in my Summoning Rug previews (it's a really nice lot, too--if I do say so myself ^-^), but I don't know WHEN, though I want it up before September, if that's any indication. Keep a look out!

MurfeeL Needs A Brave Volunteer! (Closed! Guinea Pig chosen!)

I need someone(s) to test my lots for me. They would be required to download my test lots as a Package file and also install the Extra CC package files needed to run the lot--understanding Package files is thus a requirement. I use Store Content, so people who have Store CC would be better than those who don't have any/not much, since Store CC does not transfer between games for those who don't own the items. I am Patched to 1.36 and have WA, AMB & LN, plus BB, HS and LL (LL is not exactly a requirement, as I don't use too much CC from that world. I have LP but don't have it installed yet, so that's not a requirement at all). If you want to help me out, just leave a comment, and I'll be in touch.

Updating Woes

Well. I finally did it. Said I wouldn't, but did. Bit the bullet, and updated my game from 1.29 to 1.34. Da^n . Too much cool stuff I wanted and couldn't download because the stupid Launcher wouldn't give me access to my own purchased CC without updating first--I hate EA. It took all daggone day and I needed to call EA TWICE today for help, but hopefully I encounter no major problems in-game--the Launcher won't install a daggone thing for me at the moment, but hopefully that's because I haven't finised downloading/installing out of date mods I now have. Pray for me--I'm about to start freaking out! lol
