On the outskirts of town, far over the rainbow and beyond all those pesky Rabbit Holes, there is a lot called Looking through Wonderland. The main resident of Looking through Wonderland is the noted pelt curer, Sir Madd Hatter. He's a swell bloke, and all of the neighbors like him. A social fellow (though too social for some), instead of dining inside by himself for breakfast, Madd Hatter has decided to invite his neighbors over for morning tea. Invited are dames Mirana Diamonds and Iracebth Hearts, Queens in their own right. His daughter, Sophie Hatter, opted to sleep in and was not present, while the poor android Alice ATeen-65 was reduced to waiting the table. Alice, though robot, is not entirely made of steel (or pixels). Offended that the Hatter would so blatantly take advantage of her services she got tired of busing tables. With a huff, she took the Hatter's plate and walked off with it. In robotic Simlish she declared hotly, "I am no doll to be ordered about with the mere click of a button! I have a will of my own, Hatter! If you want turkey, then I suggest you employ the use of a sharp cutting knife!" Flushed beet red with embarrassment over his creation's blatant rudeness, the Hatter excused himself from the table, retiring to his subterranean laboratory. Not to be bested by his own machinery, at his computer he began an immediate search online for any good deals on android servant technology upgrades. Why is a Raven like a Writing Desk? Because Poe wrote on both, of course! The Hatter does enjoy the daily riddles he receives online through his subscription to Mad as a Hatter Quarterly. His pet raven, Reynold, does as well. Late for breakfast and unsure of whether or not anyone was going to continue their meal now that the Hatter had retreated to his rooms, the young Sophie Hatter, his daughter, decided to just enjoy a light treat before brunch. In the dining room she came across a wondrous array of assorted treats. Though normally opposed to food with such high calories so early in the morning, Sophie decided to take one. Little did Sophie know, however, that the tarts on the dining room table were especially prepared for Iracebeth! The Hatter, having long harboured feelings for her, wanted to surprise her with these delicacies that he knew she could never resist. Terribly upset and feeling that she had been cheated, Iracebeth felt a terrible rage boil within her, but knowing that the Hatter would not approve her putting his daughter in her place, Iracebeth took her frustrations out on a convenient if innocent outlet. A little calmer now that her anger had been vented, Iracebeth felt it best to calm herself down before presenting herself before her beau. Upstairs, she relaxed in one of the lavish guest bedrooms, tickled pink by the smart decor. The presense of pigs is always a comfort, and she felt herself begin to mellow as she finished what was left of the tarts. Perhaps later, she would offer an apology for the no doubt broken lawn furnishings. Meanwhile, Alice was also feeling in the mood to make amends for her own unsightly behavior. Heading down into the Hatter's laboratory to express her own regret over acting so disrespectfully before her Maker and his guests, Alice's softened words fell on deaf ears as the Hatter refused to admit her access into his inner sanctum. Banished to the outer rooms with the doors slammed in her face, Alice found herself alone before the only face that would deign to smile at her that day: The Cheshire Cat's. Of a kindly heart and gentle manners not prone to exhibiting attitudes of the likes that she has seen that day, the delicate Mirana, feeling quite overcome with shock, was determined to far remove herself from the potential drama unfolding downstairs. With the night drawing to a close and no one having yet made up, Mirana knew better than to instigate. Instead, she made her way upstairs to the other guest room available. Until the others decided to act their ages, she would speak to no one but the White Rabbit! Right, Rabbit?.... White Rabbit?....

Hahaha, such a weird and bizarre setting, I love it \:wub\: Great pics, you did a splendid job on showing off the lovely scenery. Now if the story will continue Caroll-style, that would be fab!

\:rah\:  Awesome, just as I thought it would be!!!!   Love the pics, the house looks like it's a Tim Burton storyboard and the story is so *out there* I can't wait for more.  I feel sorry for poor Alice though, hope he doesn't try and upgrade her.  Love Reynold and it's Sophie's fault that Iracebeth got angry anyway and what's the White Rabbit going to tell Mirana?  Gotta go and read the next installment!  Ta ta for now Steph \:D
