Powered by the mysterious celestial powers of a fire demon, this clanking castle monstrocity is said to be able to move from place to place -- useful for when the resident wizard/witch needs to hightail it from the authorities or rival enchanters! Inspired by the iconic edifice from my beloved Hayao Miyazaki's 2004 animated film: Howl's Moving Castle. ^-^

I tried my absolute hardest to stay as loyal to Miyazaki-San's version of the castle as possible, given the limitations in TS3 Build Mode, and the limitations of TSR's file size requirements. But I also took a lot of liberties. The entire 1st level is based on the 2nd half of the movie, after Howl moves the Castle to Sophie's hat shop and gives it that spiffy interior upgrade. There's the kitchenette, the little bedroom nook they let the Witch of the Waste stay in, the side bathroom, and the general living area where Calcifer's fireplace was. (I couldn't find the right kind of CC fireplace, so I settled for a fireplace that at least LOOKED demonic XD). The 2nd floor, apart from Howl's master bathroom, was totally made up--I added a wizard's study off the staircase, a proper living room, and a tiny workshop with a workbench for inventing. I couldn't squeeze Sophie's bedroom on the 1st level and the only place it could fit was on level 2 behind Howl's Study. Except for Howl's Bedroom everything on Level 3 was improvised, too. I didn't furnish Markl's bedroom, again due to file size, so there's 2 really big spare bedrooms fer ya. There's a secret 4th floor attic you can only reach via the secret passage in Howl's room, and there's other little surprises on the lot as well. Of course I also added the little cottage Howl gave to Sophie near 2nd half of the film, making it a second kitchen/study with a time machine thrown in so Sophie can travel to the past and future whenever she likes.
My Magnum Opus is now complete! ^0^ I've been working on this lot for around three YEARS, and I finally got it so where I didn't use a billion gigs worth of CC, yet still maintained the integrity of what I was trying to accomplish. A VERY big thank you to all of you who Gifted me sets from The Store, without which I would have never pulled this off! ENJOY!

Install the Extra CC Not Included that I linked to above in your Packages folder FIRST, or the lot will NOT install! (NOTE: In Build/Buy Mode don't even THINK of touching any of the OMSPs, especially the ones holding the turrets and wheels up! It took A LOT of finagling to get them in place! Shout out to Cyclonesue for the castle turrets and wheel pieces! ^0^) Made with Patch 1.63 and WA, AMB, LN, SHT, SN, SSNS, and ITF installed. All EA Store Worlds installed Gold, except RH. Store Venues required include: Golden Ticket Shop (savvy shelves, posters, stool), Grandpa's Grove (jar of flowers, china end table); the Old Mill (PC canning station, PC water wheel, PC tea set, lights, jars); Art Studio (jewellery tree); Learning Center (fridge); and World of Wonder (poster). PC includes everything from More Magic (cauldron, spellbook, crystal ball, voodoo doll); the Keep Me Clean shower; Gumball machine, Woodfire Oven. Uses a lot of Store CC.
