About Me
I love The Sims 3. I used to create for The Sims 1 and had a website called MrsSims. Maybe someday I'll try making some stuff for The Sims 3. I spend most of my computer time looking for cool stuff for my game and not enough time playing! I love animals, antiques (especially Primitives) and spending time with my family & friends. I live in NH with my husband, our 14 year old daughter, three cats & 3 mice.

Oh well, the house is by far the best I have ever had, so I guess I can live with it! I don't know who likes the house better, me or my Sim! I put it right on the beach, so there is a beautiful vista. The inside looks ok by the stairs, because I have plain walls, it's the outside of the house that looks funny with the warping. I'll play around with more walls and see if I can put some foliage in front or something outside! Thank you for the advise and taking the time to write back! I hope you'll be building more soon, I'll keep looking for more houses!

Hi MrsSims and welcome to TSR!... Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my *Cape House* I hope your rich sims are enjoying there new lifestyle!
About the stairs: Unfortunately, the bad part of having split-level stairs is that you have to put up with those nasty diagonal walls. :/ The way the stairs are build, is buy raising or lowering the foundation using the *constrainfloorelevation false* cheat. And the product of doing that is... the surrounding walls warp. As far as I know there isn't a way to fix this as yet. Hopefully EA will come out with some split-level stairs of their own that will negate this issue. As you stated, the best way to hid them is to use a plain wall colour, but there are some patterns that don't look too bad as well... usually vertically made ones. I would just experiment with some patterns and see if you can find one you can live with.... My other trick for hiding them is to place furniture or plants in front of the offending section.. lol... Good luck with it!
