Not so much inspiration as trial and error. Mostly error.

Agreed! I know that connecting tunnels for multiple venues would make the game lag like crazy... but for a little while it would be fun!

Thanks! I'm currently working on a couple of underground residential lots-- a starter studio, and a two bedroom house. And maybe a dungeon....
