TSR improves quality control
We've recently been polling groups of downloaders both at TSR and in the community on how TSR can improve. Some of the areas you've raised have included better customer service and quality control over content and so we've made a start by establishing a full Admin Support staff to manage uploaded creations and handle support tickets in the submissions area. We aim to answer all your queries within 24 hours at the latest and also have a swift turnaround of uploads for next-day release.
The new staff team consists of veteran artists and downloaders alike. Please welcome Cyclonesue, Riccinumbers, AnoeskaB, Angela, Fredbrenny and Murano as new members of TSR staff. The team will play a new dual role by making spot checks on uploads to ensure content is being made and uploaded correctly. Where they find problems, they'll work with creators to address the problems and remove anything made incorrectly. As a result we will also act much more efficiently on reports of any faulty or stolen content so make sure to report inapprioriate content when you find it! Overall this new setup is a great win/win situation for both creators and downloaders!
To further improve on the quality and mix of uploads we offer we will be implementing the same rules for Sims 3 that already exist for Sims 2: we'll no longer be accepting ordinary Sims - only celebrity Sims or special characters. We will also be rejecting Sims 3 Sims and other content made purely with the Create-A-Sim or Create-A-Style in-game tools. We'll continue to maintain a family-friendly PG13 site and will not allow any content that causes any legal issues such as exclusive brand names and clones of EA store content.
This is only the beginning of a massive overhaul of TSR as a whole. A brand new site and many more improvements are already in the works and will be revealed later!
