"A new beginning for the two of us", is what I thought. Little did I know that raising a child on my own was going to be so much work. I never thought that teaching my daughter Madison to talk was going to be hard work... or teaching her how to walk. I had to learn to cook for myself, which was not a pretty site. Everything I cooked got burned... I started reading cooking books to better my cooking skills. Page after page of recipes and ideas. One thing I never knew though was... that cooking would be so hard to accomplish! Everything was new to me. I didn't even know how to change my daughters diaper, but I picked up on the technique fast. The first person I met was Betsy Parker. Right away there was something about her that was special. I had to get to know her better. She was great to talk to, and understood everything about me. Most of all she brought a smile to my face, a smile in which no one had seen in months. I tried so hard to find out what was so special about her, but couldn't figure it out. Later that night I read to my daughter to spend some quality time with her. I had spent most of the day with this Betsy girl. I felt bad that I had not really spent time with Madison, my daughter. I put Madison to bed and gave her a kiss on the forehead to show how much a love her. That night I couldn't stop dreaming of Besty, but the dream was cut short when Madison cried for my attention. When I think about it, my daughter Madison is the only girl I need in my life.

It was cute but I don't think you should make it so much Madison this, Madison that, I think you should put some more variety of happenings in the story. I am sorry if I sounded rude, I didn't intend to be one. \:\)
