This is a continuation of the Crumplebottom Legacy. Lily will look different as I had to reinstall my games and therefore lost the original. You know that feeling you get when you move into your first apartment? It's feels like freedom, doesn't it? You have your own place and you can do whatever you want. Then, it happens. The phone rings. It just rings. And keeps ringing. It won't stop ringing. But you don’t want to pick up. Somehow you know who’s on the other end. Then finally you give in and pick up. “Hello?”

“LILY! Thank goodness you’re there! It’s your mother! I’ve been so worried. How was your flight? How’s the city? Have you got enough food? How’s your apartment? Have you made any friends?” I sighed. I hated picking up my phone when I went away; it was always my mum checking up on me. She has my little brother and sister to worry about.
Everything had been going well since I moved to Bridgeport. I had become a celebrity, thanks to the books I had written during my childhood. I had about five bestsellers under my belt with more books on the way. But thanks to my celebrity status, it meant I could go to all the great bars and clubs. For a while, it was quite a lonely life. That was until I met my current boyfriend, Peter Stykke. He was a famous musician and a great fan of my work, supposedly. Our first ever meeting was in the lift to Aquarius. “Hey, aren’t you Lily Handel? The Author?” “Yes, yes I am.” “Your recent book wasn’t the best you’ve ever written. It was awful.” Thanks. After a quick dip in the pool, I changed from formalwear into my casual look. As I went to the bar, there was my biggest fan. Great. “Hey, can I buy you a drink?” “Sure, why not.” After about five minutes of standing around with a drink in my hand, we actually began to talk. Peter told me that he was a musician in a band called Type A Positive but unfortunately they hadn’t got anywhere. The next day, I visited the Salon to get a new outfit. A new top, denim skirt and shoes. I look quite good, I thought. I know my mum won’t approve but hey, she’s in Sunset Valley. That evening, I decided to visit Plasma 101. Dressed in my formalwear, I strutted up to the doors of the club, almost falling over in my heels. I gasped when I got onto the dance floor, it was Peter. He had forgotten to tell me that he played here, typical. I started to dance. After about two hours of movement that I called dancing, I decided to leave. Only to meet Peter in the lift. “We need to stop meeting like this,” he chuckled, “anyone would think you were stalking me.” You’d be so lucky. “Fancy going to the Grind? It’s a club.” “Sure,” I squeaked out. At the Grind, we danced until dawn. It felt like everyone was watching us and talking photos. That’s because they were. Everyone was gossiping about us. Maybe because Peter was more famous than me. Then, it happened. It may have been an accident; it may have been on purpose. But it happened. We kissed. In The Grind. In front of two people who weren't even looking. And the kissing didn’t stop there. He came home with me and we continued the kissing. But, I didn’t make my mum’s mistake (read Crumplebottom Legacy for more details.) Wait, I just called myself a mistake. I was a mistake. WAIT! I’m insulting myself! I have unresolved issues. Well, anyway, Peter and I got together soon after and he moved in. Now, the big city didn't seem so big, I wasn't alone anymore.

So.... a kind of a continuation to the Crumplebottom story. I will consider it as a start and being featured is a good start. Congratulations \:cool\:

Congrats on being featured. \:D  Sorry to hear you had to reinstall your games, and that it affected your legacy characters. What a bummer! I agree with April; Peter better turn out to be a good guy after her first encounter with him... (Now I have another story series to catch up on--the Crumplebottom Legacy.)

That happens to me too! I love my mom, but she always calls me when I don't feel like talking or just going out the door... LOL \:D

"I'm calling myself a mistake I have unresolved issues" good, I think it highlights important things.
