Heatherton doesn't have a history: it is a new house waiting for the Sim family who will make it a home and consequently be in the unique position of living Heatherton's future.
Heatherton is a large house. There are 5 bedrooms and 6-and-a-half bathrooms tucked into it's three storeys - plenty to cater for even a super-sized Sim family -but if ever that is not sufficient, most of the top floor is undeveloped.
On the 1st level [ground floor] there are two double bedrooms, one of which is the master suite; this has a dressingroom as well as ensuite bath, the other only an ensuite. The family room with it's large, wall-mounted TV is open to the second floor - it occupies the centre of the floorplan and has access to both the entry foyer and the rear exit. The kitchen which is galley shaped has generous bench/storage space and modern appliances. A breakfast nook occupies one end of the kitchen, a formal diningroom opens off the other with a small, walk-in pantry adjacent the diningroom. To round off this floor, there is a small office, a fully equipped laundryroom and a 2-car garage with access into the house.
A plant-covered pergola spans the street entry and a similar structure forms the overhead cover for the entry porch.There is a family-sized BBQ in the rear courtyard, as well as meal seating for 8
On the second level are the remaining bedrooms - a double guest suite with bath and dressingroom, a single with bath, and a twin which shares the guest bath. Here also is a music/games room and a workout station with weight machine and treadmill. A half-bath opens from the exercise area.
On the upper level is a self-contained studio for the budding Rembrandt of the family.
Heatherton has the potential for a very interesting history in years to come, and it is the resident family who will provide the personal input which eventually becomes it's history.
