I wish I could sign every Guest book and wish you a safe and wonderful holiday .. whatever your spiritual beliefs may be ( but like most -- I am swamped with getting ready for the holiday lol)

So I want to wish everyone in the TSR community warm wishes and May 2015 be a year that brings Good health, peace, and prosperity in every realm of life ( health, finances, emotionally and relationships, work. etc)

Officially a Sims 3 Select Artist!! YAY!

Hi TSR Community,

Recently I received a long anticipated email from the extraordinary Artist Panel asking me if I would like to accept the honour of being a Select Artist for Sims 3 Lots. I was so humbled and moved! ( I said YAY! YES!!! yes yes! lol)

I want to give a huge Thank you to Cath ( The Numbers Woman) , Thomas, Gea ( Anoeska ) and Angela, as well as everyone else on the Artist Panel for finding my creations worthy of such an honour. As well as awesome advise from Cath , Angela and others over the years. Your feedback has been so helpful.

I want to thank all the other artists - such as MB, Pralinesims, Chemy, Christina51, Degera, Fredbenny , Metisqueen , Space Sims, Simman_123 and MANY others for their encouragement and/or advise over the past 2 yrs that I have been creating for Sims3!

But most of all I want to thank all of YOU-- TSR Community of Sims Lovers - for downloading my items and finding them worthy to put into your games <3 I appreciate all the kind feedback I get with every creation!!

I have waited a long time for this.. and I am on CLOUD NINE. This year 2014 -- marked TEN years that I have been a member of the TSR Community. I have made many friends on here.. some no longer here for various reasons , But I will always cherish the community and ppl here :) 

I came to The Sims Resource looking for content for my Sims 2 game Waaaay back in 2004. I spent 3 yrs as an addicted downloader LOL until I got up the nerve to start uploading some of the houses I had built for my game in 2007. 

I spent several yrs - 2007 to 2009 recoloring for Sims2 and building lots for Sims2 until i took a semi retirement due to family issues and being busy with running my own business.

However in Oct 2012.. I purchased Sims3 ( I could no longer contain my Simming addiction ;) ) I am so glad I did!! It took me a bit but I found the building so much more in Sims3 and soon was starting to create again. I took a stint in TSR University ( Angela is such a wonderful mentor <3 ) to try and learn meshing -- but for some reason this old brain couldn't grasp the texturing -- so I just continued on with lots and then Paintings. I am SO HAPPY that I decided to start creating again!

Now Sims 4 is out.. and I plan to build for it. ( I am working on the first real lot that i find would be worthy of upload) And of course , still building for Sims 3. All the amazing content on here just makes the game SO MUCH more fun to play and create! 

I also HOPE ( I say hope) to try again at meshing for Sims 3 and pattern making. I so admire the time and creativity of the object makers and pattern makers! In other words I am not done yet with learning and growing as an artist! I also eagerly await the addition to create for Sims 4 on TSR Workshop. ( Tutorials etc)

I am currently in Full time college at 44 yrs old- but I love Sims everything so much - I cannot go very long without creating something! :) I will do my very best to continue to make quality items for your games <3 I posted a short while ago at my shock and wonder that I had reached 3 MILLION downloads ( 1900 plus objects betweens Sims2 and Sims3 ) Again Downloaders I cannot thank you enough! Muah! xoxo

WOW! I have reached 3 MILLION DOWNLOADS!

Hi TSR community,

I had not logged in here in a day or two ( been busy with college) and had not submitted anything for Sims3 since late September. I have been working on some Sims3 projects as well as playing Sims4 and getting used to the game in order to start building ( and also for fun on my downtime from full time college) 

Anyways I see today I have reached 3 MILLION Downloads... between my Sims 3 and Sims 2 creations that I have been uploading since 2007! THANK YOU SO MUCH to all that have found my creations worthy of Download! I hope you are enjoying them and that they enhance your games!

This made my day.. on a day where it was not the greatest all day lol. AGAIN THANK YOU! This inspires me to continue creating for Sims 3 and now Sims 4 . I stopped creating any new content for Sims 2 last year as I no longer play that game or have it on my computer!

My lots for Sims 3

Hey Simmers

I have had a couple comments lately asking if I could be more elaborate when decorating my lots. There are a couple things I keep in mind when I build...

My lots I try to keep them simple and easy to play. Nothing worse than a huge house where you cant see what your toddler is up to  LOL. I try to keep file sizes down as I like to use custom content.. so most lately are only partially furnished. to keep them from being super huge files. Nothing worse than a house that has a 46 mb file size ... and takes forever to load or even crashes some ppls games.

If I could decorate them the way I would like I sure would!!

I try to keep walls all neutral.. as if .. like in real life.. you are moving into a house.. all taupe and other neutral colors and then you can re decorate the way you want. 

So there you have it.... my lots will always be easy to play... and the odd lot I have fully furnished only when I have used alot of EA content instead of Custom Content.. as the EA stuff is low in polygon counts so does not make the lot file huge. 

TSR wont allow lots of more than 50 mb... which is actually great as .. usually a big lot will take a long time to load or even crash some ppls games.. depending on the type of computer the player has. 

I appreciate all those who download my lots... I hope you and your Sims enjoy them as much as I enjoy building them . ( My Sims tend to live in my own houses too... due to the easy to play factor :)

YAY! Sims 4

Hi Simmers!

I have been creating alot of content for Sims3 and fully plan on continuing to do so as I love Sims 3. However I got Sims4 and this morning just started trying it out.. Oh my! Its so different! Not used to it yet but there is plenty of time to figure it out. Once TSR has it all set up to make CC for Sims4 I will surely be submitting my creations but until then like I said creating for Sims3 and playing Sims4 !

I was very happy to discover that my laptop also supports Sims4 with great graphics too! 

I start College this week so schoolwork will take priority but I love creating so much that I fully intend to keep on submitting!

Anyways Happy Simming! and please check my mini site for more houses and paintings for Sims3 as well as some other items I am currently trying to learn... patterns for one and still attempting to learn how to object mesh!

New House and New Simspiration!

Hi Simmers

I havent written a Blog post in over a year. I took about 6 months off from creating. basically as I was not inspired and was busy playing new EPs lol. But since May I have come back full force in creating.. having been inspired by spring. 

I am eagerly anticipating Sims 4 release in Sept.. and thought in the meantime i would create my little heart out! I believe I will eventually create for Sims 4 as well in due season. I fully plan on still playing Sims3 even after Sims4 comes out.

Anyways..  I have been trying to make both modern and contemporary homes. My next attempt is to be a Victorian style home.

Branching out with Loads of New Expansions

Hey Simmers,

Spring has really been lagging in my neck of the woods ( Southern Ontario, Canada) so lots of cold wintery days and nights to stay in hibernating .. while playing and creating with Sims 3! There has been a huge sale on EPs and Stuff Packs this week on Origin ( go check it out if you havent already!) Expansions as low as $9!! ( I just bought Generations today for 9 bucks and High End loft stuff pack for $6 and Supernatural for $14.99) Crazy! 

So now in the past month I have ALL the EPs Except Showtime.. ( but that is coming on Friday! it is also on sale for $14.99) And that includes Seasons and University Life. I only have one Stuff pack now.. but i only wanted three anyways. The rest look... meh. 

With all this new content.. I have began trying to make Pets and Sims.. and presently working on making a Witch.. maybe a Fairie Sim also. And lots of added stuff to keep building houses. I have been kicking around the idea to make a Community Lot. 

So this is what I have been up to. In the Month of March I have had several items Published but my creations have slowed down... only because I have been busy playing! LOL

I had written for weeks way back in Feb that I was in TSR University and learning to mesh. Well I have left Univ to make room for other waiting ppl as i just cant seem to get my head around the UV Mapping part of meshing. Making the 3D object i got a grip on but the mapping in order to put textures on it.. nope. Im lost. So I have laid that aside for a time.. and hope to try and pick it up later on.. and try again. I am disappointed with myself over this.. but perhaps the next go I will get it. I have the upmost respect for meshers i will tell you! Complicated stuff.

So for now I am still building and making paintings etc.. and have made a Sim and a pet.. in attempts to give some variety to my page here at TSR. I plan on taking a stab at Pattern making as well!

Anyways that is it for now. I havent blogged in almost a month so I thought it was high time I did!

New updates to my Building

Hey Simmers!

I wanted to announce some changes to the way I am building lots. Recently I have had several problems partially downloading .. and I FULLY intend on fixing these. It takes alot of time for me to go in and find all the CC I used and test each lot and fix in a Vanilla game. So I will start asap and do this.

In the meantime.. I recently Installed these EPS - Late Night, World Adventures, Pets, Ambtions, and Seasons. So I may now start trying to build with minimal as possible Custom Content so that I dont have as many problems.. it is hard though as there is such AWESOME CC on TSR! lol

So far all lots have been Base Game and I empathasize with downloaders who only have the original game. 

I have a zillion ideas for lots now with all these EPS! 

Anyways I will release updates as I fix any lots that have had problems. My sincerest apologies for this.. as it does happen from time to time and it is incredibly challenging for the Builders to go back in and fix. My my goal is to make Downloaders happy and I hate to see people unhappy with my creations!

Update on my Solar System Paintings

Hey Simmers,

I have released Part 1 and 2 of the series of paintings of the Solar System. I recently received a private message asking when i would be releasing the rest of the series.

I didnt realize people have enjoyed them this much so I wanted to let anyone else interested know that I will be uploading Part 3 tonight. 

Then later mid week I will upload Part 4.By end of next week Part 5.
