"Well hey Mystery Sim, how ya be this fine day?" ... "Glad to hear it, "Glad to hear it." ... "Well, seems Mayor Board is serious bout stepping down when his term is up and the town fathers thought Mr. Mint might be interested in running again, asked me to stop and chat with him, Maddie and I decided a little walk would be good for us." ... "Mr Kendal has been out of politics for a time now, I heard tell ta other day he's been goin to medical school, I don't know, I don't know." ...

"Gurt, she's an ecological guru, and well, Mr Kendal he goes out with her sometimes now, I think maybe he's discovering that there's all kinds of art in this world, and he was kinda over look'n that part which is nature's art, what with being so busy with all he's had to do." ... "He was just gett'n so tired of all the back room deals that seem to go along with politics now a days." ... "Mr Kendal, he's a good man, crazy bout his wife and kids. Always wanted to give them the finner things in life, and he has, yes siree indeed he has. Stepped right up and helped Miss Gurt all the time when Mr Franklin was a meer babe." ... "I'm think'n that might be when he didn't seem to need as much expensive stuff in his life, have'n a baby can sure change a fella, ... or so I hear ... " ... "I do believe it changed Mr Kendal, yes indeed, it's been a slow change, but I see someth'n a happn'n in him sure as my name is Sonny Day." ... "He and Miss Gurt are give'n their kids a great appreciation for all the finner things in life, but they are also stressing the importance of a good education to achieve what it is you may want. They also advocate giving back to the community. And they do, they sure do, give a lot of themselves to their community." ... "I have no doubt that their kids will do well." ... "Mr Franklin has always been a very studious young man, pretty serious fella, yet he has a funny side, I've had me the pleasure of seen'n it a few times, don't show it often that one, nope, not much, he sure don't." ... "They have a daughter too, think I mentioned her before, Miss Silver." ... "Right, right, well she is just a sweetheart, and the apple of her big brothers eye, he would do just bout anything for her I do believe." ... "Oh, let me see, he must have been right on to bein' a teenager when she was born." ... "Gave the whole family a real time of it when she was a toddler, ya, she sure did, Miss Gurt was tell'n Maddie about when Mr Kendal decided that he could potty train her, said it would be easy, hahaha, well, I'd say he found out just how easy, HAHAHA," ... "Oh no, Miss Gurt told him he could just go on ahead an finish up the job he started. Hahaha." ... "Oh sure, he got it done, but that girl fought bath time, she fought potty train'n, she fought feed'n time. Cutest little scamp." ... "But she never fought cuddle time, her daddy and..." "Mommy knew that cuddke time was the best time, so it made up for all the difficult times." ... "Yes indeed, all parents learn that leason, seems to me that sometimes kids don't know how much they really mean to their folks and thats a shame, real shame." ... "Right, right, back to the Mint story." ... "Well, Miss Gurt and Mr Kendal are right nice folks, how's that?" ... "I guess I do say that about most all folks in town, hahaha, what can I say, this is a town of right nice folks." ... "Anyway, they wanted to give their kids all the best opportunities in life." ... "Both Mr Franklin and Miss Silver were taught music appreciation at a very young age, their folks read to them, talked politics, current events, and whatever the topic of the day was. They surrounded them with fine art, and introduced them to fine food. Yes siree they sure did, and ya know, at the same time, they taught them to love the environment, plants, animals, people. Gave those kids a right fine outlook on life and how things oughta should be." ... "Miss Silver, that one, I tell you what, she is a bonified child prodigy." ... "Make'n up her own songs from the very first time she was able to crawl up to the big piano. goin places that girl is, you mark my words, goin places." ... "You can be sure her folks saw it too, I guess that's when Mr. Kendal decided that he should make sure she was never held back from her potential." ... "Well, she was in a private school for gifted children, and that girl, well she was acing all her classes." ... "It was time to have Headmaster Jitmakusol over to dinner again so he could help them with their plans for Miss Silver." ... "Headmaster Jitmakusol was always just as taken with Miss Silver as just about everyone else round chere is. He agreed with Mr Kendal and Miss Gurt that maybe it was time to start thinking about the possibility of Miss Silver going onto high school early." ... "I know, can you believe it." ... "Only thing is, Miss Gurt insisted that Miss Silver not be overloaded. She wanted her little girl to get to be a little girl for as long as she wanted to." ... "Maddie said that Miss Gurt whispered to her, "besides, if she grows uo too fast I won't be able to play with her so much, life will take over." ... Miss Gurt is pretty much Miss Silvers best friend." "When Miss Silver built a lemonade stand, as her brother had before her, Momma was her first and most frequent customer, just as she had been with Mr Franklin. Her Poppa made a point of being a regular customer as well, hahaha actually anyone in town that walked by made sure to have some of Miss Silvers lemonade, it was mighty tasty, mighty tasty." ... "Then old Russ Bear had to go and break into their home. I guess it upset Miss Gurt a lot. Actually upset most the town that he would act that way." ... "Oh sure they caught him, Ramin Centowski pretty much always gets his man, and the Mint's got a reward of 500 Simoleans, they donated it to the orphaned childrens fund, but old Russ, he'll be back out in no time." ... "Well we believe in second chances round chere, and third and fourth , I guess, go figure." ... "But Mr Kendal could see how much that night upset Miss Gurt, and it made him feel even more protective of his family." ... "They talked long into the night about what they should do." ... "Miss Gurt ecpressed her concern about what could have happened to Miss Silver if they had both been at work that night." ... "Told Mr. Kendal that she no longer felt safe in her own home, that's another reason Maddie and I wanted a chance to visit with em, find out hoe they are." ... "Oh, hey, here,..." "Mr. Kendal, I'd like ya ta meet Mystery Sim, Mistery Sim, meet Mr. Kendal Mint. How ya doin Mr. Kendal? You and the ladies all right, we heard what happened. I tell you what somebody needs to do something with that Russ Bear! I don't know what, but something." ... "Mystery Sim, the pretty lady speaking with Maddie, that's be Miss Gurt Mint, Maddie's been helping her out with spruce'n up her wardrobe, helped her with wear'n a bit a make up, Look'n real nice today Miss Gurt, nice to see ya." ... "Oh thanks Mystery Sim, just give us a moment we'll be right with ya." "Well wouldn't ya know it, turns out it's move'n day for the Mint family." ... "They own them a piece a land a bit further away from Mt. Challenge Drive, that's that road up there where all the businesses are, anyway, they have The Mint Family Orchards over there, has a small house on it, so there downsizing so to speak, said they wanted to go back to living a bit closer to the land." ... "We'll have to catch up with them after the move." ... "That's real nice of ya Mystery Sim, thanks for offering, but they say they got it covered, I offered help as well. Seems Franklin gathered up some of the guys he went to college with to help with the move, so no worries." ... "Bout time for us to be head'n on home, get'n a bit late for us old folks, hahaha, it's been right nice chatt'n with ya, till next time then, you come'n Maddie?" ... "I'm right behind ya dear, nother few steps n' I'll be right beside ya. We'll be see'n ya Mystery Sim, you go on now and enjoy this beautiful day before the weather changes on us ya hear. Be a good day my friend, be a good day. Bye Bye." ...
