TWO NEW STORIES...
Hi...again, thanks for the great response to my latest story, 'An Honorable Knight'. The Sim I used was so popular, I am going to use him again. (I got a lot of PM's and GB inquiries about him) to answer your question, I do not know where I got him, I get a lot of my Sim Males at all4sims.de, then add my own touches. One story is "SHIP OF DREAMS", starring the blond hero/hunk from 'Knight'. Here he is with his lady fair... The other Story is called "A Spurious Rake". It is starring a character that is beloved to a bunch of us Sims2 Story bloggers, 'Gabe', I have inserted him here as a notorious rake of Regency England. Thank you beth and gayl... Hopefully I can finish these before the end of this month. I may post the 'High Seas' story first, as there is an SA contest for June for a 'Nautical' theme! Thanks for the continued support and have a great week!! And wow...over 50,000 page views and 529,000 downloads...I am stunned, and very grateful!~~KarenWESTERN SIM STORIES~~UPDATE
Hi, of the three Western Stories (sim photo) I am working on, it looks as if 2 will be uploaded here, and the third one will be at a blog I just started. The third story is just not suitable for the PG guidelines here at TSR and I understand and agree with their decision."A Convenient Bride" is now posted! Another western/romance!
The second story "Fort Bravo" needs more edits and will take longer. Not sure I am going to do it...If I follow the movie plot, it cannot be posted here, may have to change the ending, still debating.
The third story is called 'Thunder Valley' and can be found here: Introduction and 15 chapters posted. I have uploaded a lot I made for the story, can be downloaded here at TSR.
THUNDER VALLEY
TSR will still be my main spot for posting stories, but now I have the blog as well, and would be honoured if you checked it out!! Thanks for all the comments and support!
~~Cheers and have a great week~~
AN HONORABLE KNIGHT
Hi! Some Story news, I STILL have "Escape from Fort Bravo" to finish, that has been hanging around since January, LOL! It will be a two-parter. A western, of course. Will be posted here at TSR soon...I hope! LOL! Also I was so gratified with the response to my foray into the Regency era, "The Two Faces OF Aidan" I decided to go back even further into the 'Dark Ages' or Mediveal period to try my hand at another period in history. The story will be called "An Honorable Knight" , yes, it is a romance, and I have a few preview pictures up at my off-site blog DREWSOLTESZ SIMSTORIES Thanks to cariadbach, I now know how to post pics in my blog, so here are a few more preview shots of the hero, Sir John Twinningham... Leave a message there (or leave it here!) and tell me what you think! Will be posting the story here at TSR hopefully in a few weeks. Thanks for all the continued support for my stories, the amount of wonderful comments I receive is very humbling and gratifying! Cheers and have a great week! Many Thanks!
I cannot believe in little over a year and a half since I have been posting stories and my humble creations I have reached 40,000 views and well over 400,000 downloads! I just want to thank everyone here at TSR that have ever read, downloaded and commented!Have been here since 2003 and have not had a bad experience, everyone I have ever dealt with has been generous, kind and altogether gracious!
*clinks glasses with everyone*
Cheers!!
Have a great week!
Poll Results....
By a 65-35 split, the majority wants me to continue on my mini-western theme. Good thing, because I have things planned (story and objects wise)in this same genre.I will be uploading my first bedroom set soon, also a western theme, with more in the planning stages. Also another western rug set is in the works.
Have a great week!
PS: Hope to have the conclusion of 'Wagon Master' posted end of this week or beginning of next week.
Cheers.
SELECT ARTIST-I am gobsmacked...
Well, I must say this is a shock to say the least, did not expect it as I am so limited in what I can do re: recolours. I must assume then that it is maybe for my stories more than anything else, LOL!! Or I can hope that is the reason, my writer's ego would like to think so!Thank you for all the warm congrats...I will try to continue to stretch my wings re: objects, etc. and of course, the stories.
I am basically a humble, low-key person, so being singled out like this was a surprise, thank you.
Wagon Master update at the end of this week or first of next week. What was going to be a two-part story looks as if it may have 4 parts! LOL!
Will also be updating my story blog as well.
Cheers

Yee-Hah! On A Western Kick..
You are not going to believe this but I have three western stories (Sim Photo) on the go! As you can tell from my screenshots, I am going crazy! But I am also having a lot of fun! Some of the fun is hunting for appropriate downloads to fit the story, I have found some great ones!
One of my stories takes place at a Fort, which I have built and uploaded here. I did not include the CC, but instruct as to where to download it.
I have always enjoyed the western genre, in print and in movies, and I am so gratified that Hollywood still manages to make a good one every so often. 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale comes to mind, better than the original.
Also saw a very good oater on Turner Classic Movies Westward the Women 1951 with Robert Taylor about him bringing 100 mail order brides back to California for some lonely ranchers, surprisingly gritty for 1951!! (sounds like a good Sim story!! LOL!)
Also thanks to the great comments for the conclusion of Van Helsing I will answer them all!
Cheers~~Have a good week!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I will try and have one, as I have been deathly ill with the flu all Christmas week! Could not even eat Christmas dinner!! WAH!AS for my resolution? it is boring and standard, to lose weight. I have started already before Xmas, I only mention it here to remind myself to stick with it. It is only the last few years I have been gaining weight, and it has to stop.
As for VAN HELSING Because I have been sick I am behind, will try and finish it up after the New Year, and post the conclusion ASAP. I am toying around with a western, (as you can tell from my latest screenshots) whether I will post it, who knows?
I am also behind in reading my buddies blogs...same reason posted above, it is on my list!
Got Celebrations stuff pack for Xmas, my family asked if I wanted any EP's I said no!? Shocking isn't it? So far I have only 2 EP's, and I think that is all I will stick with. If it wasn't for creating objects and stories, I wouldn't be playing. I cannot remember the last time I just 'played the game'.
That's it for this week...Happy New Year...Cheers!
