I was just thinking about my cat he scared the crap outta me once. Because we have a two story house, we have stairs, and upstairs there's railing. My cat Toby was walking on there when he was a kitten he used to walk it, so below him were the stairs. Well I was talking to my friend on the phone when it happened. I just heard a loud thud, I went to investigate and found a book on the landing, that had been knocked by Toby, I shrugged it off as stupid cat. I turned around to continue talking to my friend. Then I heard another LOUD thud! I turned around and saw Toby there, he let out a blood curling scream! It was SO LOUD! oh great, now I'm crying sorry it really freaked me out I thought he was going to break a bone or something and die. Anyway I was talking to my friend, then he fell and I freaked out, I hanged up on my friend. I was home alone! at the time so I had no idea what to do, I called my sister (parents were overseas) and she wouldn't pick up, Toby wasn't moving and I was majorly panicking (sorry if this is so long) I called her about 10 times before she finally picked up, by that time I was hysterical and freaking out and absolutely balling my eyes out. She told me to keep him warm and stay calm and that she would come home straight away and to call the vet. And you know the one time it's a real emergency I couldn't find the phone book to get the vet's number (Which I have since put it in the phone) Well my friend called me back and I was still freaking out about the vet now, she found her phone book and gave me the number, I then hanged up on her again. called the vet, my sister came home and we went to the vet. He checked Toby and found that he had no broken bones, and he said he was VERY lucky that he didn't because it was a pretty big fall. I started crying again in the vet's room, that was embarrassing. We took toby home and gave him lots of cuddles and tuna. Anything like that happen to you?
