Yes, most of the music kids listen to these days makes my ears bleed (figuratively speaking). Ha, I teach high school English. My story is progressing so slowly. I've got probably too much backstory written out - there's 10 pages of notes and written out story parts that'll never see the light of day. I get so caught up in thinking about how a character develops into what he and she is in my story, that I often forget there's a story to tell lol. (It's the English teacher in me, I blame her!) That is a fancy way of saying I'm stuck on how to get it started. That's always the hardest part for me. What I meant by "a little green" is when Shade was younger and naive, when he didn't know "the ways of the world" so to speak. I guess with a long story like the "Wicked" series, you have to tie up loose ends...unless there'll be another installment? $\;\)$

Of course they aren't annoying. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks so $\:\)$ . I wonder if Shade's father is one of the characters who already appeared in the Wicked series. Also, I've read TSR's storytelling rules so I completely understand that sometimes you have to write something in a roundabout way. Anyway, having read all your Wicked stories in the last few months, all I can say is that it just gets better and better. Waiting for the next one. $\;\)$

The only reason I know that song is because my students pointed it out to me. Now I use it as mood music for when I have to write something dark and horrible (which thankfully isn't often). Whatever it was she did to hurt Shade, it must've been pretty bad. Maybe it could've been during Shade's younger years when he was a little green? He's gotta have some issues, what with being abandoned by his mystery father and his mother dying like she did... And hey, Shade doesn't need a last name, does he? LOL

Trust me, you got the point across that Maia's a dangerous woman. I mean, wow, is she mentally unbalanced or what? LOL She actually reminds me of the narrator in the song "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry. That should be Maia's theme song! That's why I was a little surprised when Alec believes Shade is still in love with her...Maybe Maia wasn't always that dangerous, but Shade breaking up with her turned her into a possessive psycho? $\:eek\:$ The name "The Mother" sounds so...ominous. It's perfect for the situation, and I can't wait to meet her! And is it wrong to want to read more about Shade's family, with Meena by his side becoming a part of it? $\;\)$

'Wicked'. Whenever I hear it, there's definitely a second or more that I will think of your story xD Huray for comments that make others smile! Grr. Mystery Theo. Well, more reason to stay thrilled and curious. Hahaha, and you definitely used nice responses in your story, haha. Uuugh, definitely. When some hunk somehow shows up in front of me, I'm like, speechless and.. wuuuuuh. You won't hear much sound coming out of me.. haha. Hahahah XD That what makes Meena, Meena. Well.. I'm sure things will change later on.. but for now, let's enjoy some more chapters untill that will happen xD Shade and his 'gang'. LOL I remember I once mentioned gang aswell.. oh yes, fang gang.. hahahahah! That's indeed a fantastic way! And they definitely looked frightened. Especially when Blythe slowly started stepping away and Sahde protectively pushed her behind. ♥ He's so sweet. but he probably couldn't believe what was happening xD Poor Alec, holding tight to his poolstick. Probably expecting a fight, haha. Oh gosh. I wouldn't mind to find myself in Shade's bed.. Lool. You didn't hear me. :P

I totally forgot that Meena can see ghosts, too, lol. You should put that in somewhere, just for Shade's reaction. If you're stuck or anything, and need someone to bounce ideas off of, I'm happy to help with that. I enjoy brainstorming like there's no tomorrow. Ooo, Meena finding out about her demon side at the same time as Shade would be perfect! Imagine the drama and angst! $\:rah\:$

The makeup thing really works well on Shade, given the situation. It adds to the description of his worry, fatigue, and plain being fed up. I'm looking forward to seeing where you're taking this question and answer/hostage situation. I love that Meena's asking questions, even if she is freaking them all out, lol. Makes me wonder if/how she finds out about her not-quite-human side. Whatever you end up doing, it's gonna be awesome. $\:D$

I can understand why people with tats get sensitive, though personally I think they're cool. I choose not to have any, but mainly because I don't like needles and pain lol. One thing I forgot to ask in my comment to your latest chapter: how did you manage to get Shade looking so tired in a couple pics? Seriously, you can almost see the fatigue lines on his face from his worrying over Meena. Dunno how you did it, but I liked seeing that. Anything that gives character development makes me a happy reader, even the small things. $\;\)$ Also Maia should be a thorn in the Shade/Meena side for awhile, I can't see her being the sort to be brushed off. If anything, she'd try harder to hold onto what's "hers".
