Yes, you are correct. Hiedi definitely comes from left field. You really have to pay attention when talking to Hiedi.. you never know what she's going to say. Slips some real zingers in there. If you aren't paying attention you might miss it. Karie is just plain nuts! I have been dealing with her for WAY too many years!!! $\:D$ $\;\)$

Yup like Laurie said.......we were being literal. $\:D$ Karie had lots of ear infections as a young child and it left her hard of hearing.......then there's me.........I've been legally blind since birth (I've got 20\300 best acuity in my best eye with best correction possible). Together the 2 of us make up our very own Helen Keller.......I'm "Hel" she's "en" LMAO $\:P$ When I lived in AZ I had to go to the Arizona School for the Blind and Deaf. I don't know about now but at least up til 83 when we left children were not given extra help or accommodations........."sink or swim" policy and if you sank under "normal" conditions due to your disability you were sent to a state run school. Near ours was another school where they put the physically and mentally challenged. So between less dust and more normalized schooling California called. $\:cool\:$

All right, I have read the last few entries in your guestbook and realized I am getting bashed. First of all, I didn't share anything. Can I help it if Karie caught it from me? She's the one that wanted to come out here to Kentucky and see the new baby. I was on antibiotics and thought it was safe. Guess not. I am not the cause of her going nuts either. She was like that when I met her. Yes, Hiedi really is legally blind and Karie is REALLY hard of hearing. It makes life interesting. If anyone is the cause of people going nuts it's Karie. She can drive a sane person mad. I hope she reads this. As for the dog, as much as it pains me, I have to admit the stupid thing talks. I was love to use that as an example of Karie's insanity. I just want you to know they both evil. Trust me. $\:D$ $\;\)$

Hey! It has been years since I've been put on any respirators. $\:mad\:$ $\:P$ $\:D$ Not since Nov of 96 thank you very much........it's been over a decade.......give me a break; boy I tell ya........spend a week on a ven & you'll never live it down. $\:P$ Kinda funny..........Mom & moved OUT of AZ because of our lungs........we've got major dust allergies. Besides............I may love my deaf friend Karie........but it kinda sucked being a blind kid and being stuck in a school with deaf kids.........there are social situations that just aren't covered under "NORMAL school yard" anything. $\:P$ Deaf kids siting there talking away in ASL and along comes a blind kid.......hits their shins with a cane and before you know it there are a bunch of kids with little to no way to work out the problem; funny us blind people don't play sharades very well and most profoundly deaf can't speak to get a message across........what was ASDB thinking? $\:eek\:$ $\:wacko\:$ Oh well........if nothing else I can say I've had a very "interesting education".LOL :P

OHHH...You're a wheezer too?? So are we (me, hubby & hiedibear and her mom). It seems though that as of the past couple of months, I have had it the worse (LaurieR shared bronchitis or something like that with me when I went back to see her in KY in December). I haven't stopped hacking up a lung since! It's all her fault. Hiedi usually is the type of asthmatic that likes the ventilators. Knock on wood, it's been a while since she's done that!!! Oh, and I am nuts. It's from both (if not mostly) LaurieR (friends for 23 yrs) and Hiedi. It's their fault! I used to be "normal" til I met Laurie. $\:P$

i was in a mood (and it wasn't from a sugar high either!!). $\:P$ i was just feeling a bit...well...ornery!! HOW CAN YOU STAND THE HEAT IN THE SUMMER??? I would be the melted blob on the sidewalk..ugh!! It gets pretty hot here in the summers, like up in the hundreds, but I at least have a nice ocean breeze that blows though! My dog is talking to me (for real & no, I am not nuts) He said he want's out. Ask Hiedibear & LaurieR, they will vouch for me that he talks!! $\;\)$

Innocent........is EXACTLY what I am.......on THIS anyway ; Mike knocked and I'm the one who said "no" when she asked "was that the door?" oh and seeing as I was telling Mike "don't" "quit messing with her" and I got "sssshhhh"ed! $\:mad\:$ $\:P$ I may not be %100 angel but K picks back and often picks 1st. $\:P$ She used to have the POGO people believing she was "innocent" and "sugar & spice and everything nice" ; then they found out what some of those spices were.......vinegar, garlic, onion, etc. $\:P$ $\:D$

Yep, we are in Oceanside (San Diego). It's nice to live near so many amusement parks (provided you have the $$ to enjoy them!!) We are not far from Sea World (of course) & Disneyland & Calif Adventures, Knott's Berry Farm (they are all about an hour away, give or take). If you don't mind driving about 3 hours North, you can visit Six Flags Magic Mountain. Where in AZ are you? Hiedi's sister lives there.

I know!! It's been a while!! We went to Disneyland for 2 days, last week (Monday & Tuesday) & had a blast! I think I am still trying to recuperate from it!! I am pooped out from working overtime & doing grocery shopping & now n top of it all, my hubby and hiedibear are picking on me. Make 'em stop Cali!! They were knocking on something & then said it wasn't them, so here I am running to the back door, then the front door to see who's there!! They are evil! $\:mad\:$ Don't let Hiedibear trick you into thinking she's all sweet and innocent...she's not! $\:P$ Well, that's my day, pretty much (aside from being suckered into some diet thingy at work that is going aggravate the snot out of me! It was either join or be nagged..joining was easier). Sometimes, it really blows to work for a big fitness corporation (24 Hour Fitness).
