never? $\:eek\:$ thats shameful. If you went now though, you probably wouldn't be too impressed; Its just one big antiques barn and a cheap cafe. The great hall comes complete with chipboard shields tacked to the wall and 'cobwebs' dangling loosely off the chandelier and I think theres a man dressed as Henry VIII who does tours $\:rolleyes$ : I might well have another go at making a decent version of it sometime myself!

your take on Samlesbury Hall has really impressed and surprised me! I've been trying and trying to make a decent version of it, but I always scrap it when I come to trying to make a floor plan that works and is faithful enough to the actual house. I might just take an incentive day out to download yours and have a look. Do you live around Samlesbury or was it just the program that did something on the white lady that got you interested enough to make it?

Thanks so much for leaving your nice comment on the fiery marble dark framed wall. I was looking around your site and found the "Thicket" Its Fabulous! It reminds me very much of a lodge in the Adironadack Mountains. I may borrow a few of your innovative ideas $\:D$ just for my own use to replicate that huge log hotel. Great work! judi
