lol your way too hard on yourself, I didn't think it was pretty good, i thought it was great! and I only put the tip becaus eit annoys me when people on put smileyes or 1 word (e.g. great) on my stories lol. You are really talented!

hey, I'm a bit confused by what you told me. So yes you have to have a folder named "downloads" in your Sims 2 folder. This is an example: C:\Documents and Settings\(Your profile name)\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads. So basically go to the EA folder in your "My documents". Inside the EA Games is a folder called "The Sims 2". Inside "the Sims 2" folder should be a folder named downloads. This is where your downloads go. The game only reads files ending in .package, do you have a downloads folder? Also you are going to need the CEP file for objects that can't normally be recolored. http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=92541 Have you read TSR's content installing help? Sims custom content are package files. All files that go into your dowload folder must end with .package. How are you installing your CC now? I know TSR allows you to download the sims2pack that installs the CC for you. The only problem with that is that the name of the file is this crazy long generated thing. I download the zipfile, unzip each one individually and put the .package files into my download folder. Have you been putting files in your download folder?

I unzip the files and put the .package files into the downloads folder. So you had the sims2 and then installed sims 2 deluxe, correct? I wonder being where sims 2 deluxe has the base game that it overwrote your download folder. The only other thing is to make sure that you have downloads checked as enabled on your start up screen. How did you install Custom content before? Is it all missing? Was there any flashing blue objects? Let me know. $\:wub\:$ erin

Im sorry your downloads don't show up.I use winzip and it works fine, I put it directly to my downloads folder, under the sims 2 downloads. I hope this helps you. $\:D$
