Uh oh, I try to stay away from what I read, mostly cause it bugs me that I don't reread what I write and there's so many grammar mistakes! (I had to spellcheck the word grammar btw. My spelling's not so good lol) Well Death is definitely going to make a comeback and him and the shadow man aren't exactly buddies BUT who's team is demon Theo in? The shadow man is responsible for demon Theo but, he (demon theo) is a demon and can't be trusted. So, I'll just leave that there for you to ponder about bwahaha. lol it's alright, it was a reminder to go back and tie up things, and explain more on some stuff.

Uh, it's embarrassing that I forget what I wrote but I think you're confusing the shadow man with Abaddon (death). When Laima had told him that Aiden and Evie don't belong to him, he said something like "well maybe not theirs" meaning Meena does. The shadow man was there observing Meena mostly. Making sure she was being "good" and that she didn't let Dominic (the little boy death was possessing) control her, so that she won't accept him when he returns when she's older. So, yeah, death will be making an appearance but not so soon yet. That's what Theo demon is pretty sure of. That Shade is his brother. Uh oh now I'm worried about all these lose ends you're talking about lol. Yeah, I missed those guys ha. It's weird seeing them all parental and stuff lol

All in good time. Just have patience... jk I'll explain more about the shadow man next chapter. Theo's brother...well, he seems pretty sure about who his brother is. SPOILER: Yup, he means Shade. "Is the demon inside Theo somehow connected with the shadow man?" You can say that, yeah. The shadow man is the reason the Theo demon is there in the first place. I had to make it make sense as to why Demon Theo would want Meena and Shade away from each other. He obviously doesn't care about Maia, so this made more sense. If he feels like Meena belongs to him somehow. Thanks, I missed Aiden and Evie, and feel bad for forgetting about them, and what their personalities were like, and how they'd act now as the parents. Working on the next one already, but I'm trying to make them longer, cause I'm freaking out that the story is taking too long. It's already in the 20 something chapter, and I honestly don't know when it'll end lol.

Honestly, I feel kinda bad for Maia too, but I'm trying to make Theo as evil as I can without actually having him kill someone because of the restrictions. Lol yeah, I don't want Meena and Shade's relationship to be smooth sailing. Things are going a little too smoothly right now. You're right, it makes sense with Evie not remembering Shade's name, and thank you! I'm going with your idea of Aiden having that lingering demon "infection" but he will only be able to see through enchantments or whatever. So, thanks so much!

Love the reaction! That's what I was hoping for! Who the heck doesn't use protection now a days? Dammit Meena, get your shi* together. Theo? Scary? I actually love him lol. Yup, I wanted to throw it out there that he really is a demon, without having to say "Theos a demon". Hes an incubus by the way, that's why he's always just getting out of bed with a woman, or getting into one lol. Please tell me it was obvious that he was getting it on with the girl from the bar in the restroom? I didn't want to have to redo the chapter, so I thought I'd play it safe and not have it be rejected. Can't tell you what he has in mind for Meena yet, but I'll try to drop hints along the way, like what he's doing with Maia. It's pretty obvious he's going to try to turn her into a supernatural and test Shade to see if he'll kill her. Seems like something villains do? Hope all these unanswered questions aren't annoying though. I know I like to drag things on, leave somethings unanswered (like who the Shadow Man is) a lot, so hopefully it isn't getting boring. Question though, I'm planning on having Shade meet Meena's parents. Do you think they should be able to remember his name seeing as they are both ordinarily human? Or should at least Aiden be exempted because he used to be a supernatural? I'm pretty sure I don't want Evie to be able to remember his name because I want Shade to find out that while Evie could once see the dead like Meena can, Evie can't remember his name. Further proof that just seeing spirits isn't why Meena can remember his name. So The Mother was wrong about that, and now Shade's still wondering the reason Meena can remember his name. Sorry, just brainstorming here lol.

Yeah, I kind of messed up in not writing everything down, and finishing the story before submitting the first chapter. Yup, but I really wanted Shade to be the villain, and not have a repeat of The Wicked Wait, it's crazy how sometimes they won't do what you want them to lol. It's okay, I forget most of what I've written down ha, I have to reread some chapters to try to tie up loose ends. Meena's memories will come back to her in a few more chapters. That's what it's called! Writer's block! I knew there was a word for it, but I couldn't figure it out ha. That was with the last chapter about The Mother, I had no idea how much I wanted to share about Meena's real identity. Thank you though, I'll let you know if I get stuck again lol. I'm working on the new story too, which kinda helps a bit
