Every day the 1st 5 entries you post (write in somebody else's GB) give you 5kudos ea. & the 1st 5 entries that others post into your GB gets you 5 ea.; so if you posted in 8 GBs only the 1st 5 give you kudos......the rest are just being friendly.    Look for polls on people's pages.......and answer ONE PER DAY.......you only get credit for 1 poll per day.  Other things like loggin in, posting a comment on a screenshot story or item, as wel as rating or thanking (stories & screens are rated/downloads get "thanks"ed) all get you kudos.   Also if you go to the forums there are games you can play in the OffTopic chit chat section there is a large word game section you can play for fun & each entry gets you kudos.  If you make some screenshots that gets you points.  Uploading something like a lot will get even more kudos.  Stories are worth quite a bit but they're also a bit more involved and difficult way of getting kudos.  Well now you've got some ideas on where/how to find the kudos.

I thought you were from the U.S. because of both your avatar and the flag on your profile shows you as being from the U.S..   Well I have a couple of tips for you to get kudos......I made a blog for kudos hunter & also for those who are willing to help.  So if you sign up maybe some of the other nice people who like helping members to get kudos will also help.   If you were refering to CleanPak installer that is found @ ModTheSiims2.com which is 100% free to join.    The more Stuff Packs & Expansion Packs you have the longer it will take to load back in.......I've got all the CDs so it takes all day for me to reload everything too, oh & + I have yet to meet someone with more custom content than me.   I have upwards of 60,000+ files.   I pretty much live on the net & am up to something SIMS almost 24/7 even helping out other Simers.

Hello!I saw your GB entry at Hiedi!Did you know that it is TSR and not the FA's,who you have to thank for it!I'm not a FA or SA but I tell you TSR makes you to a SA and then FA!I know one that became a FA and later decidet to be a SA again because of it!So please if you are angry,be angry at TSR!I used to get a free day with kudos and I help everyone getting kudos if they want,so if you like,I help you as well!You are able with lots of thing to get kudos,just ask but leave the FA's alone!They do great work!

Well I've written enough stories by now. LOL  Yes you would have to have screenshots to go with the text.   And yeah you're right that the point of Sim stories is that they have the pictures to go with. LOL  Oh by the way these multiple entries I'm doing in your guest book help you get kudos.   Well take care.

Well if you're missing your Sims that much just install them.   I know it's a pain in the patootie but in the end the days and weeks of fun playing are worth the hours it takes to reinstall it all.......and I've got ALL the games for Sims 2 that have been made.   I don't think Sims 3 will be released until sometime this summer.   Do you really want to go all that time SIMS-less?   Besides.......if Sims is something that makes you happy then it's wroth a little bit of agrovation don't ya think?

Well there are a few things you should know before you go screaming at any FA artists.   1st of all it is not up to the artists to have the FA content as member only.  2nd many of them do rotate things around so that even free members can have their work.  3rd it takes a lot of money to run a big web-site like this; there are thousands of TSRians on-line at any given time & that takes a lot of servers to allow all those people to browse and for TSR to hold all the files of everyone's creations in their data banks.  You can use kudos to get anything you want, & generally once you have the meshes of the FA's someone comes along and makes recolors that are posted for free.   You can earn kudos by doing things like rating stories, screenshots, and items that you've downloaded and/or leaving a comment......and also thanking artists for their work gets you kudos.  You get kudos for getting entries in you GB & for leaving entries in other people's GBs.   So you see it is not that the FA artists are being "mean"........many of them try to make their stuff available.  And I happen to know a few of them on a sort of "chummy" basis and I have yet to find a "mean" artist.   Around here 90% of folks are very nice including FAs SAs and everyone else.

The menu baord that fell was heavy so along with the head injuries it also dislocated a bunch of the bones in my neck & back, and I broke one in the lower part of my back; so I use a wheelchair but I can move my legs some and feel them kinda fairly well.....i'm partially paralyzed, and my upper back and neck just hurt and are weak sometimes.   So that's why the meds that make me loopy whcih make me even more confused and such than I normally am. LOL  3rd

When I was 14 I went out to dinner with my Mom, little sister (she was 6 ), & Aunt Lee for a belated birthday celbration at Sizzler stek & seafood.  my Mom & Aunt were truing to decide what they wanted to eat and were reading the menu baords, they'd gotten done with the 1st 2 & were reading the 3rd when a man needed to get past us to get back to his table (he'd just gone out to the car), and as soon as I stepped back to let him go past one of the menu baords fell off and on my head. (why we call my brain farts & stuff "Sizzler syndrome"........sounds better & more appropriate )  So I have a pretty significant brain injury; but like aspergers syndrome my brain injury also makes it hard for me to understand the cues of other people so I don't always read the correct emotion of people.   And sometimes I'm not even sure what to do with my own emotions.   Like you I'm still intelligent but I getthings mixed up, and I have to do things over & over before I actually learn it......I have a hard time getting things from short-term memory to the long-term memory. It's kinda like the different sections of my brain had to take over for the areas that were damaged........my brain still works but my brain had to rewire itself around the parts that won't work.   So like I can sit there and do algabra problem but I can't hardly count out 50 jellybeans with out messing up & it's like that when I talk sometimes too.......I forget the last thing I said was or what I was even taking about.   That's why I love the internet so much.   I can sit & have a conversation about politics or science but then if I'm asked what was it I ate for lunch I'll draw a blank or I might remember the items I've eaten in last 72hrs but not which one it was that I ate that day.

Part 1 ) Wow that must be nice having that much vision!   LOL  If you have 20/80 vision without your glasses that is still good enough to drive in some states.   WITH my glasses (& they're HUGE + THICK ) I have 20/300 for my visual accuity.   So what that means is that since you have 20/80 without your glasses; when you stand at 20ft from something a normally sighted person would stand at 80ft to get the same visual effect (you'll both see the same amount of detail).  Since I have 20/300 that means that even with my galsses on if a sighted person were to be at 300ft away & I at 20ft we'd see the same or similar amount of detail.

Yeah sometimes it doesn't work because you might have too many images to upload. That's why some people have them split into parts. The most images I upload is 20, I dare not go any higher lol. But my computer isn't that good. If you don't end up posting your story be sure to give me the url! I want to read it

To find the folder that the pictures are located in you first open up 'My Documents' then in that folder you'll find the 'EA Games' folder. Then click the 'Sims 2' folder, look through them til you find 'Neighbourhoods' folder. Then there will be all these weird named folders, like 'E001' and 'N001' They are the neighbourhoods that are in your game. You might have to look through all of them til you find the neighbourhood that you took the pictures in. So you open one of the folders and then click the 'Storytelling' folder within those folders. You'll notice that some of the pictures are called 'thumbnails' and others are called 'snapshots' e.g 'snapshot_396e22' and so on. Each picture you take in the game, has a thumbnail and a snapshot. Make sure when your uploading the images that you use the snapshots and not the thumbnails. The difference between them both is the sizes. 'Snapshots' are the normal sized images, and thumbnails are much, much smaller. It will go from "pending" to "approved" to "published" once it has been put up for general download.  If you want to check in on it then just click the same submission area you did originaly & check for the status of your lot on the left hand side.  Sometimes it takes them a while to go through all of the submissions and there are only a handfull of people to check everyone's submissions.......so be patient with them it can take days or even at times weeks to find out.  So long as your lot says "pending" and not "declined" you're OK.  If it only says "uploaded" then you still needed to click one more step.   Even if your lot is declined for some reason you won't be notified of that decision or why; if you need to know what is wrong then you have to ask the submissions people (we'll cross that bridge if and when we need to) and ask them what was wrong, otherwise just redo it and retry.   Good luck with the lot kiddo.   Oh & by the way the reason for you wanting to upload something is a very good/nice one.   Bye-bye.
