Oh, I'm almost afraid to read what will happen next in Merindylen! With the war amping up and casualties already stacked up, I just can't/won't imagine what's going to happen. I loved how you gave sort of a town gossip view of Vasiily and Illandrya's relationship to highlight/contrast that they are the real deal. And that multiple points of view technique with Deyon is enriching too. Loved the sparring costumes! And condolences on your game woes! I've often cleaned up and deleted something 'indispensable'! Argh! And patch troubles...don't get me started! The profile page sounds cool! Another cool chapter that I wasn't expecting considering your last preview post! We're so lucky!!!! Thank you!!!

Oh, Judi! You've no idea how much I missed you and your updates! I was going through some serious withdrawal there! Yes, I noticed how you said that 'it' wouldn't happen in this story arc (and so I hoped you meant that it might it in a future one --- and you did!!!! ) I'm gonna go a little bit Queen Esobel and gush over how cute Melissa and Charlie's baby will eventually be! GUSH!!!! (Although she probably doesn't really gush like that. I was just referring to her Illandrya-Vasiily plans. ) Again, I'm so glad you're back!!! And I really hope RL takes it easy on you!!!

Hi Judi!!! I'm SO that you're back!!! I've really missed you and your updates! I hope RL eases up on you some! The new chapter is totally marvellous!!! I'm so happy for Melissa and Charlie. They so deserve baby number five! And I loved all the Australian details (b/c everything is so new it's like going on another adventure!). I was so surprised that Simon was so late and like Jennifer I was thinking there was MORE to the appointment and the surprise. But you nixed that. Can't wait to see what happens next! I'm so invested in your characters! I can't wait to 'meet the folks' too! Beautiful shots! Oh, neat detail that the Agency had a neighbourhood of housing for its agents!

Fond greetings to you again, Milady Illandrya, and thank you so much for that epic comment on Flipside (2)... so fantastic to see how extremely well you read into the story ((one of the points I've been working since the beginning is the whole ingame 'trait' thing to the hilt--showing here and there the EA-intended funny, but more often the, ahem, not so funny side of the same concepts))... loved hearing from you ((as always!!!)), and thanks too for checking out the Library thread that clears up the deviation from the story as intended -- I was relieved to see you saw it and knew about the change.  If you get a chance and care for a little lighter reading, I've got an outtake gallery posted now, if you don't mind having a look at the cast behaving off-script lol :P...  Until next time, thanks huge heaps again, and have a fabulous weekend!

Illandrya, I have missed you!!!  And I just read The Wayward Chase/Chapter One and it was fantastic; Melissa and Charlie's new conception and the retrospective of their previous troubles so well described, I felt like I should be holding my breath for them and this last attempt... ahhhh, may no one shoot at Charlie or kidnap Mel until she safely gives birth to that baby!!!  And I lol'd over Simon's nerves, it totally looks like he's working himself into a fit over presenting a ring, but of course, that's just a guess until you post the next one-- I really can't wait, love the story, and that screenshot of Charlie holding Melissa, framed to emphasize the fact he was holding her was perfect.  Again, I have missed you, and I hope you don't mind I picked the guestbook for my comments

Fond greetings, Illandrya! In explanation of my whining about the possible reception of Flipside ... when you're known only for writing the musings of a toddler, you worry about sharing anything else LOL... and so thank you more than I can say for your latest compliments, and as for ill will toward Dani... lol again ((I know it probably isn't appropriate to lol about that, but I know these imaginary people and I can't help it)), I haven't exactly let anything out about the girl that's sympathetic yet, and it will be interesting to see if you change your mind down the road .   You had asked me about Sanctuary; I have indeed caught a few of those, and it is somewhere on my backlist of series to rent.  I've also seen a number of Supernatural seasons; the characters and set up are great, but I have to say some of that story arc drives me up a wall for a long list of reasons I won't bother to bore you with here lmao.  It seems we do have a number of fanships in common, though-- and the strangest bit is I just recently finished watching the entire Firefly over again, too... huh!  Thank you again, and as always, great to hear from you

Oh, less feedback? Could be b/c it's back to school time now. Game problems. Too little time. etc. They'll eventually add up in the end as life slows down. Plus, you don't have the advertisements in the Storytelling and Screenshot sections that other stories do. But I can almost guarantee you that as soon as people start your series (any of them), that they will love it!

I personally think it's great to mix up the speed/content of the story and lulling readers into a false sense of security and expectation. (I think that's really due to television and short attention spans and a need for adrenalin. ) It makes it exciting and...what's the word...? Trembling, hovering, vibrating, thrumming, like frequencies or music. If you don't change it up then you just get this monotone. Besides, too much action can cause heart attacks! LOL Anyhow, I'm a diehard fan now, I think of Veronika and Merindylen and your writing style, so I will most probably love whatever you throw at us. However, what really matters is what matters to you. As long as you're happy and satisfied as a creator, that's all that matters. (Including always giving us twists, turns, suspense, etc.!)

Hellooo again and it's official!  I'm a -current- fan of Veronika Storm!  Just finished 6-day pass (x3 chapters presently), and I, for one, love where you're taking the series.  Already a fan of the V/Simon romance ((although I was about to comment on how long they 'waited' when the writer finally stopped with the, ah, torture? Wet towel no play?!)), I was on the edge of my seat with the suspense in the latest arc, going she (you) won't really kill Simon at this point right?  Right?!  Lol, that was one of the best parts-- you're changing up the rules, so even though I was pretty sure Simon was relatively safe, I didn't really know ... bottom line?  Like I said before, just keeps getting better and better!  ((as an additional note in response to your latest entry in my happy guestbook, I am a -huge- Battlestar Galactica fan, now lets see if you dig any of these others I fav:  Firefly, Farscape, Buffy/Angel, Dark Angel, American Gothic... all cancelled, all were awesome ))  And finally, I've submitted Tales from the Flipside (1:Proxy) with its final cut and coat of whitewash, so we'll see if it makes it, although after reading the latest two-parter of Storm , I'm now looking at all the crap I cut and going, "Dang. I really, really need to make a blog."  Lmao

Oh, geez!!!! I totally did not expect that twist! I thought this was going to be a nice romantic interlude with a family vacation on the side and then BAM! That weasel Mapleton totally deserves what's coming and I totally forgot about the Landgraab mastermind (loved his face!)! Poor Melissa though! And I was afraid this was the end of the love story between Veronika and Simon!! Loved the screens and the story and can't wait to see what's next!! (greedy of me, I know ) Plus, loved the shot of Simon and Veronika's wishes. And loved the detail into Veronika/Simon's childhood too.
