Good morning dear Kate, thank you so much for that flapjack - it's already gone together with the hot chocolate, nothing left ... $\;\)$ The kittens are doing well, they bring so much fun and happiness I could kiss them all day long. They are doing the sidewalk now with big tail, they run and climb and play half the day and are the most amazing entertainers you can imagine. The other half of the day they sleep on the lap of my husband. We tried to watch a thriller some evenings but when it finished we didn't know what it was about because watching the kittens and their parents was so much more amazing. Especially their father is adorable. He tought them already how to carry around things - they imitate everything he's showing. You know it - a tiny kitten, the head high, knowing to be very important and carrying things like those little soft balls or little parcels - it's sooo cuuute! I don't know where he found them, it was x-mas decoration and the rooms were cleaned a lot of times since then, including moving all the sofas and chairs. I was wondering where they disappeared when I stored the x-mas deco - now I know he was hiding them to teach his children ... $\:D$ Last thursday they were seven weeks old, on tuesday or thursday I'll have to visit the vet for their first vaccination. You are a lucky woman - you'll have all this fun coming the next weeks. I wonder weather the two mothers are friends? We've a problem right now with the Terrier. She loves the kittens and wants to take care, but she's not polite enough to pass over the kittens to their mother when she decides that the "nurse" should back out of nursing. So there were some noisy arguments and now I have to take care. When the Terrier and the mother cat and the kittens are together I have to be in the same room. I don't want the kittens to watch their mother arguing with the "aunt". Hope that will go back to normal when they get older. No problems with the other dogs - the Foxhound and the Podenco. The boys know how to "read" the cat much better and they know when it's time to lay down and be quiet. But adorable little Dotty is changing to be a witch now. Two days ago Papa-cat was lying in the big basket with all the kittens. All the five of them sleeping and feeling cozy. The mother was watching and then jumped into the basket. She woke up all of them and when all of them were crying for "Please, open the milk bar!" she jumped out again and lay down high above them on the drawer where they couldn't reach her and the father had to cope with the complaining kids. The only comment of my husband: "Like real life - women !" $\:D$ Let's see if she will turn back to be the nice cat she was before ... $\;\)$ Have a great sunday, my dear, and lots of hug for all of you - you and the two of yours and the eight tiny ones and their mothers *passingoversomecatnip* $\:wub\:$
