Hi Kate! Thanks for your wonderful comments on our story. I was super surprized to see it featured this morning, as Margo's story about the Hunter Twins had been up there first! The twins to Sunset Valley...hmmm...could be... we will have to wait and see what they have planned. (I honestly don't know yet where we are going to take them in the last chapter of this F&B adventure) Have a super day!

It is a tale I have wanted to tell for some time and am thrilled to finally have a forum to share it with others $\:\)$ Of course, if I wasn't so lazy, I would have actually finished it and gone looking for a publisher by now *lol* but that's a whole other story.

Good morning dear Kate, just dropping in to say thank you for your visit. This sunday is wonderful because it's really a sun(ny) day - warm and lovely! And I'm happy again because this morning the last kitten could be convinced to try the kittens' food. They didn't want to try the baby rice either ... $\:$$ But then I went to the pets' store again and told the seller I have to get something they would like - no matter if it would be the best food ... This time he gave me Royal Canin's Baby food - and they liked it! Every time they bit my thumb I put a little of that food on it and finally all of them licked it and then tried more. This morning all of them came running when I went in with the plate of baby food and calling them. Four cure tiny ones smacking around a plate that looks huge though it's only a dessert plate! Now they know what to do with food I can give some more healthy food to them - or so I hope $\;$$ With cats you never know - they really are picky ... And I was delighted when I realized that they already find their litter box and use it! Clever kittens! Their dad shows them some things like carrying around toys and they imitate him - too cuuute! So I spend a lot of time with them - the grow up so fast. Can't believe that they are only five weeks old now (birthday was Thursday) - they learn sooo fast! How are the two mothers to be at your mother in law? I'll have a break the next week because we'll get new windows and I have to replace a lot of furniture so the handy men have access to the windows. Three huge desks in front of three windows - $\:eek\:$ I have to empty them and they still will be very very heavy to move ... I hope they will finish at the end of the next week and then I'm back again. (I have no internet access in the room I will store my pc for that time. I think it wouldn't like the dirt and dust and come with the exchange of the windows.) Lots of hugs and kisses for all of you from Jeanie. $\:wub\:$

Good morning Kate, thank for dropping in. I'm now going to buy some groceries and ask for that rice, too. I have to get something in the tiny ones before they eat their mother. When she opens her milk bar now and you watch the family it's one third mother and two thirds kittens - I have to help her ... $\:D$ My terrier had fun but I had less - when I reached the fields it began to rain and stopped only when I was at home again ... $\:D$ But - to be true - have you ever met people with dogs whose hair don't look like they've been out in the rain right now? $\:D$ Have a great day and lots of hugs and kisses to all of you (throwing a little bag with catnip into your hall) $\:wub\:$

Good morning dear Kate, just dropping in to thank you for your visit at my gb that brightened up my mind! I have to admit that I've never heard of baby rice $\:rolleyes$ : I asked the guy at the pets shop and he gave me something that's named Baby Paté for kittens of four weeks. They hate it! Then I bought dry food (of Canin Royal) especially for kittens of four weeks and put a little hot water on it till it was sort of mash. They hate it! The only thing they want is to tell her mother to open the milk bar. I asked around, the vet and my friend who breed Parson Russell Terrier, and they told me: As long as they gain weight and are lively I shouldn't care. It would be normal that they don't gain as much weight as before because they are moving now - and they really run and play and fight and climb a lot! And if they would be hungry they would eat the food. So I told myself to believe this ... They are growing so fast, they look like real cats now, though little ones. I envy you the possibility to watch more litters than one at your mother in law. I have to be very careful at the moment, I began to scuff my feet because they are so quick and following people more than ther mother and tend to sit right there where I want to set the next step. It would be awful if I'd kick them by accident. Last night they told us what they'd loved best: my hubby was watching TV and all the four of them lay on him - one on his shoulder, one around his neck, one in his ellbow and one on his lap. The parents lay next to him, totally relaxed. But he told me, his body would hurt because he didn't dare to move. I had to laugh out loud and told him to move. But he didn't want to disturb them. I see, they already have trained their first servant to behave like they want ... $\:wub\:$ They'll be five weeks tomorrow - time is just running away! I'll ask at the pets' shop for baby rice today. Perhaps he'll know it. Any more tips are highly appreciated! Now I'll take my terrible terrier for a long walk through the fields - and her alone, the boys have to stay at home. I didn't work with her for weeks now and she is going to be the plague again she was in younger days before I went to the dog trainer to learn how to manage a Parson Plague. My two boys - male doggies as my hubby never fails to accentuate - are so sweet! When we are out they have a lot of fun and run and walk with me long long walks. But if I'm short of time it's ok for them to be walked for an hour by my husband, too. Then they put their noises in every single mouse hole near the way and enjoy reading the Daily Dog News . Not so the Terrier witch. So have a nice day and - as always - lots of hugs and kisses for your and all the furry darlings you meet today! $\:wub\:$
